Learn about your industry, or you'll be left behind! I had a candid discussion with Darren (Dazzz) Wiltshire of Autofile magazine yesterday about the state of the auto industry (in New Zealand, but the same rules apply to other markets). Our conclusion was that now, in the face of changing regulations, lower sales volumes and economic pressures is the time to learn more and try new things. If you stand still you'll go backwards. Autofile magazine is one great source of information. Read, analyse (I use AI to help me), develop strategies and do! Learn, and act. #automotiveindustry #automotivetraining https://lnkd.in/g5ci24Yc

3M | Global Social Media Leader | Enabling social media capability and best practice across diverse B2C and B2B marketing professionals
Thought leadership is a confusing term, often misinterpreted. Here's what I think thought leadership is: Content that opens a debate, adds to a debate or offers a new perspective or a shared experience that will resonate with others. And here's what I think it isn't: - Posting 20 times a day. (Recommending that you "post regularly" is not an invitation to spam your followers.) - Reposting other people's good content without taking the opportunity to add your own thoughts to it. (It's like the difference between adding notes to a colleague's plan versus just forwarding it on to others - one is thought-leading (or at least thought-contributing), the other is thought-sharing). Thought leadership - or the equally nebulous 'adding value' - can take many forms, and sometimes it's just about adding your own relevant experiences as an illustration of the point the original author has made. And I know we all cut corners because we are time-starved. But blindly sharing all your company's content and thinking you've ticked the thought leadership box is a little naive.
Talk to me about building buyer trust with expert interviews and original data-backed insights. Building the #BeamTeam.
Technically accurate and entirely disappointing. We prefer the term “expert-driven” around here.

$AISPW - Symbol was changed from BYTSW on 22nd of December 2023.: The company has accumulated 292.93 K in total debt. Debt can assist Airship AI until it has trouble settling it off, either with new capital or with free cash flow. So, Airship AI's shareholders could walk away with nothing if the company can't fulfill its legal obligations to repay debt. However, a more frequent occurrence is when companies like Airship AI Holdings sell additional shares at bargain prices, diluting existing shareholders. Debt, in this case, can be an excellent and much better tool for Airship to invest in growth at high rates of return. When we think about Airship AI's use of debt, we should always consider it together with cash and equity. https://lnkd.in/gnBD3Gdg #stocks #stocktwits #thematic_portfolio

Vice President at AlixPartners | Executive MBA | Technology | PE Advisor | Value Creation | From Strategy to Execution
Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines, recently joined our CEO Simon Freakley and Amna Nawaz from PBS NewsHour to discuss the biggest challenges and opportunities shaping the airline industry and the broader business environment. I highly recommend you take a look as it covers three major topics worth staying updated on: 1. Why technology is at heart of the industry’s future (hint: AI is not the key place to look for innovation) 2. How to build on the resilience and innovation that came from challenges during the pandemic 3. How the airline industry is rising to meet ongoing supply chain challenges Check it out here:
