With a hands-on approach, Geist has reshaped LiveAction’s business model, shifting from one-off, perpetual deals to a recurring revenue model. Her journey is one marked by decisive transitions and an unrelenting focus on impact. In 2018, Insight portfolio company e2open acquired INTTRA, where Geist was VP, Deputy CFO. Ready for a new challenge, she was brought over to LiveAction by the Insight team and immediately got to work. While Geist was CFO, the company’s strategic acquisition of CounterflowAI in 2021 helped position LiveAction soundly at the intersection of security and networking markets, and by 2022, Geist’s deep involvement and commitment led to her progression from CFO to CEO. As a 31-year-old COO navigating the complexities of a growing company, I’ve experienced a steep learning curve and incredible milestones that make me so proud of what we’ve achieved together. ✨ 𝐈𝐧 2024, 𝐰𝐞: - Welcomed 38 new colleagues to the team. - Grew the company by over 60%. - Crossed 650 customers in 25 countries. - Broke records for the number of upgrades, new customer acquisitions, and monthly achievements. One of my proudest moments? 🚀 Successfully transitioning 450 customers to our new platform without losing a single one. That process was filled with stress and celebration, but above all, it was a testament to the dedication and skill of Team PriceShape. ⚡ Of course, the year wasn’t without its hurdles. We’ve felt the pain of customer churn and seen the effects of a market impacted by bankruptcies and reduced consumer spending. But even in this tough environment, we’ve grown in employees, customers, and revenue. This year was also my first experience working with Private Equity as we teamed 🤝 up with Copilot Capital in September. Their expertise is already shaping our strategy, and 2025 is set to be another record-breaking year. Going from below 50 to +85 employees has also been quite a ride! I’ve confirmed that leadership isn’t just about driving performance; it’s about building connections, navigating personal wins and losses, and fostering a culture that enables everyone to thrive. 2024 has been an incredible experience, filled with hard work, both personally and professionally. "The day I hired my first C-suite exec team, I felt more inadequate than ever," my founder coaching client said to me. Just like a teacher would ask new and old students how they're doing through interaction or so. Next, comes the STORYTELLING (Market phase). Sharing messages about how much they care about their people. It's like how the whole class enrolled as one team for a match. Campaigns like #WeCareForOurPeople showed how the merger wasn’t just about business—it was about making a real difference for customers and employees alike. Finally, it's time to SHARE THE GOOD NEWS (the Promote phase). It's like how joining together made them better and stronger. The story was loud and clear. Through events, webinars, and social media, it showcased how their combined expertise was a win for everyone. What Happened Next?.. With this approach, Stretto turned hesitation into trust and curiosity into loyalty. Clients stayed, employees felt proud, and the brand became stronger than ever. And guess what? It worked!.. People who were worried at first started to feel excited about being part of this bigger team.
