This month, our Co-Founder Shaina Shiwarski attended the Virtuoso Travel Week at ARIA Resort & Casino in #LasVegas, where industry leaders discussed the future of #traveltechnology and its role in enhancing human connection. Key Takeaways: • Human Connection: Matthew Upchurch, CEO of Virtuoso, and Simon Sinek emphasized that while data and technology are crucial, the real art of travel advising lies in genuinely understanding and caring for clients. • Personalization: Access to comprehensive data is vital for travel advisors to deliver personalized experiences. Tools like #TravelDNA™ help centralize client information, making it easier to offer tailored recommendations. Big thanks to the Virtuoso team, especially Gilad Berenstein and Sarah Schnierer, for inviting us and an inspiring event. And to all the amazing people we connected with—can't wait to see you all again next year! For individual Advisors, Groups and Networks: We’re excited to announce the beta launch of TravelDNA™ for Advisors. For a limited time, advisors can sign up for a complimentary period to start leveraging our platform to collect preference data on their potential and exiting clients to automate lead qualification, discovery and research time. #TravelTech #HumanConnection #VirtuosoSummit #TravelAdvisors #TravelDNA #Legends #TravelDNAforAdvisors #TravelAgents #TravelCounselors #VirtuosoTravelWeek

Evolution, Whispers & Focus… Big trade shows like Business Travel Show Europe are a chance to mentally note and group independent insights into trends. Of course, one person’s trend is another person’s fad... and some of the stuff we hear isn't for publication, but here’s what we saw last week from the show and surrounding announcements and what we’ll be looking at more as we hit Atlanta and GBTA | Global Business Travel Association convention Platform Evolution Continues… It was clear to see all the hard work the Clarity Business Travel team had been up to these last few months. New content platform and customer UI, new brand. And the news of TravelPerk’s acquisition of AmTrav was welcome news with two really strong companies combining. Well done to both. This and other micro-service partnerships (like Grapevine and Jyrney) all demonstrate to us that the sector is continuing to see blurred lines all the way from content consumption, through agent servicing and customer facing tech. And that different companies are taking different paths - proprietary v best-in-class, open architecture v closed. We expect this to continue, or even accelerate, and for travel buyers to continue to delve into the distribution & servicing tech stack. New Entrant Whispers… The show brought whispers of at least two brand new TMCs planning to enter the market in the next two months. Each of them sees an opportunity to leverage modern technology approaches and a desire for something different. Of course, it's not our place to provide more details, but keep your ears and eyes open for some exciting new brands coming our way. Alongside more likely acquisitions this makes for a real freshening of the corporate travel management space. Sector Specific Focus In addition to a continued focus at the enterprise level into the benefits of serving specific industry sectors (think energy, media, teams, projects, small meetings etc), we’re also seeing a continued focus on the small to mid-market corporate travel programmes and the unmanaged travel space. David Holyoke ’s appointment to Serko Ltd. is an illustration of this and we wonder how many others may start to look at the levels below enterprise and more into capturing the unmanaged sector. Is this as a result of potential demand drops in large enterprise as carbon targets and financial cycles bite, or is it purely just the growth of smaller businesses or a logical step into a relatively untapped space (Amex GBT have reported incredible growth here recently)? Or is it even a bet on the growth in unmanaged as a result of continued content fragmentation? We’d love to know what you see here. Oh, finally, thanks to BCD Travel and esp Zoe Lau for the AI tweaked pilot photo. If this is only the minimum AI can do for me and our industry, I'm in! #IntellectualCapital #SocialCapital

🌟 Unlocking the Power of Incentive Travel through Personalized Experiences! 🌟 In the latest instalment of Marc Pinner's series on incentive travel, we delve into how understanding and leveraging personas can create truly unforgettable travel experiences. 🚀 By identifying key personas like The Free-Wheeling Pathfinder, The Zen Seeker, and The Social Jetsetter, we can tailor every aspect of the journey to match their unique preferences and expectations. 📊 Data is Key: Each interaction with participants provides valuable data that can be used to enhance their experience. From pre-trip communications and personalized gifts to on-site activities and post-trip follow-ups, data-driven strategies ensure that each participant feels valued and engaged. ✈️ Personal Touch: By offering personalized pre-trip gifts and communications, we can excite and inform attendees about the journey ahead. Whether it’s detailing activities, amenities, or exclusive features, personal touches make a significant impact. 🔍 Creative Engagement: Fun and subtle methods like quizzes not only engage participants but also gather essential data to customize experiences. Asking simple yet impactful questions during event registrations can help in personalizing each detail, from room temperature to favorite snacks. At ITA Group, Inc., we believe in the power of creating emotional connections through data. This not only enhances participant loyalty and engagement but also drives business success by adapting marketing programs over time to become more effective and efficient. 💼✨ Stay tuned for Part 4, where we’ll discuss the dos and don’ts of selecting your incentive travel destination!
