Talking about mental illness on social media is an act of courage, not attention-seeking. In a world where we often showcase only our highlights, opening up about mental health struggles breaks the norm and opens doors for meaningful conversations. It's not about seeking attention; it's about seeking connection, understanding, and support. Sharing our stories can help others feel less alone in their battles. It can provide a sense of solidarity and community to those who might be suffering in silence. It's a baby step towards normalizing mental health discussions and breaking the stigma. Remember, your story could be the light in someone else's darkness. #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #awareness #justice #alleyesonrafah

Today is Suicide Prevention Day, a day to remember that behind every statistic is a real person facing unimaginable struggles. How we talk about mental health matters. It’s time to change the narrative. For too long, conversations around suicide have been clouded by stigma, shame, and silence. But what if we flipped the script? What if we made it okay to talk about our darkest moments? What if seeking help became a sign of strength, not weakness? Normalizing these conversations creates a safer space for people to reach out and say, “I’m not okay.” Today, let’s be part of the solution. Let’s break the silence. Let’s choose compassion over judgment. Most importantly, let’s remind each other that asking for help is brave. #SuicidePreventionDay #ChangeTheNarrative #YouAreNotAlone #MentalHealthMatters

You are not alone 💜 It might feel that way (we have felt that way), but you're not. Eating disorders and mental health struggles have a way of making us feel isolated and lonely. We get it. That's why we partnered with Crisis Text Line to make sure everyone has support when they need it. Please remember you can always text WAVES to 741741 if you need support. They're available 24/7 and all the calls are 100% confidential. If this isn't you, please do share it with anyone who might need the help. #eatingdisorderawareness #eatingdisordersupport
