“When you are a leader, you are no longer responsible for doing the job; you are now responsible for inspiring, coaching and mentoring your team to become the very best version of themselves.” One must remember that the talents that make a person successful in a previous, non-leadership role are rarely the same ones that will make them excel as leaders. ➖ LEADERSHIP DONE RIGHT Leadership done right is about setting a positive example! As Einstein said, "Setting an example is the only means of influencing others." Always remember that someone is observing us, be it family, friends, or colleagues. Three key ways to lead effectively: ➖ Lead by EXAMPLE: Actions speak louder. Show how things should be done. ➖ Lead with KINDNESS: Foster commitment through a positive, kind approach. ➖ Lead with EMPATHY: Help people find purpose, inspiring them to follow. This kind of leadership is not only effective but one of the most rewarding and fulfilling things we can do.
