CineTime: Find movies in nearby theaters (an Italian app) Overview CineTime is an application already in production for common use in Italy. The basic functionality allows the user to stay up-to-date on the latest cinema releases, get information on any movie in theaters, and know based on their geolocation the nearest cinemas. What I wanted to implement is the ability to reserve theater seats based on the user's geolocation by presenting the theaters closest to them. I also thought a redesign of the app was needed to make everything clearer. Problem Statement The problem noted in the app concerns the absence of reservation of cinema seats. This feature in other similar apps used abroad is present and from what emerges by reviews in the App Store and Google play, it is highly valued by users. My goal was to repurpose the movie theater seat reservation feature, which is already present in other apps used abroad including in my own country, by presenting the finished product with a more understandable and agile design for all interested age groups. After watching Deadpool 3 movie 🎬 I made screens design showcases a mobile movie booking app interface, specifically designed for the movie "Deadpool 3." ⤵ The interface consists of two screens: Movie Details Screen (Left) 📌 Header: Displays the movie title "Deadpool 3" prominently, with a play button underneath, likely to watch a trailer. 📌 Poster: Features an image of Deadpool (played by Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (played by Hugh Jackman) in an action pose. Movie Information: Includes details such as the release year (2024), country (USA, Canada), and genres (fantasy, action, comedy). The movie has a rating of 7.8, as indicated by the star rating. 📌 Description: A brief synopsis describing Deadpool’s character and his traits. 📌 Cast Section: Shows circular avatars of the main cast members with their character names, including Ryan Reynolds (Deadpool), Hugh Jackman (Wolverine), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al), Emma Corrin (Cassandra), and Matthew Macfadyen (Mobius). Seat Selection and Booking Screen (Right): 📌 Date Selection: A date picker at the top allows users to select the date for which they want to book tickets (e.g., Tue 23). 📌 Seat Layout: A visual representation of the seating arrangement in the "Platinum Hall," where users can select their seats. The seats are color-coded: ⚪ White: Available 🔴 Red: Selected 🔘 Gray: Reserved 📌 Time Slot Selection: Below the seating layout, different time slots are available to choose from, with 12:00 AM highlighted as selected. 📌 Action Buttons: Two prominent buttons at the bottom allow users to either "Buy ticket" or "Cancel" the booking process. The overall design is dark-themed, with red accents, creating a visually striking and immersive user experience for booking movie tickets.

Our fascinating case for Leprince Cinecontroller🎬 Leprince Cineсontroller is a cinema ticket booking platform (web&app) where people choose absolutely any movie they want to see, choose the cinema and the schedule they want, and then Leprince arranges with that cinema to show the desired movie at the desired time. Actually, Leprince solves the problem of empty seats in cinemas and the problem of movie lovers who want to see their favorite classic films on the big screen. IDEA: Leprince allows people to control the cinema as easily as their personal smartphone, and satisfies the needs of every moviegoer in their ideal cinema. #POSITIONING: Smartcinema on demand, as it should be #LOGO AND #IDENTITY: Leprince is a smart intersection of several components, where each link makes sense: person, film, #cinema. Without one, the other will not be able to work. We continued to think about intersections and at one point such a simple, but such a suitable image came to us: a ray of light! So in the logo and identity we used the intersection of three rays of light:  🔸 from a person's smartphone screen selecting a movie, schedule, and cinema in the app 🔸 from the spotlight in the cinema 🔸 from a movie projector The intersection of these beams forms a rectangle of a large cinema screen for watching your favorite movies.
