👉 Question to my network re: GREAT PLACE TO WORK certification... Does anyone have FIRST HAND experience of this certification and can put some tangible business benefits to having it in terms of recruitment and employer brand? A couple of my clients are considering the certification but would we'd like to know more about the reality of the process and achieving it, as opposed to what the website tells us. Has it given you an edge? Do you find it easier to recruit and retain? Or is its value in the confirmation of the fact that you're already a great place to work? Thanks in advance.

I often see businesses using link aggregators for managing links from their social profiles - even big companies do it. But here's why I think it's a bad idea and how you can do it differently (whilst boosting your own SEO). I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Do you pay attention to the user experience of your marketing? H&M is a great example of how not to do it. Their “new in” email dropped into my inbox this week featuring, amongst other items, this combo. As you can see I’m invited to “shop now” for these items which I tried, but failed to be able to do. You see the email doesn’t link to the items pictured. It links to their entire leopard and denim section. AND despite far too much time spent trying various searches, both the jeans and the blouse are impossible to find. Shame - as I would have impulse bought. But now I won’t. Sale lost due to poor UX.

Some of their team members are PRINCE2 trained, but it's a heavyweight option for what they need for the rest of the team.
