This self-guided journey of growth and development in diversity, equity, and inclusion helps us connect with blood cancer patients from all communities and backgrounds. I believe the knowledge and skills I’ve gained through this curriculum will help me in my role as Executive Director of the Northern California Region. This #BloodCancerAwarenessMonth, we stand with the fighters, survivors, caregivers, and even our own loved ones impacted by blood cancer. Early detection, education, and innovative treatments are vital in the battle against leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other related cancers. By raising awareness and building supportive communities, we can help those living through this illness feel empowered and connected through a united culture of support.
