Today I'm going to tell you about ETL, which is extract, transform load, right? To give an analogy, right, think of it like a scene happening on a stage and three people from different views are actually, you know, observing that scene, right? Each of those persons will have their own POV of that scene, right? And will get their own idea, right? But if you want to get detailed information about what was happening, you will ask questions about the PVS from those three persons, right? So the same thing. With the data first we have extract write which is actually reading the data. Then we have transform where we change the data like we need to get a particular data format or a particular date format right? So we change the data into our desired format. Then we have load where we load the data into a particular target database which can be data warehouse or. Data lake, right So again, going back to the analogy, it's like, you know, combining the views from the three persons into a large data source, right and how that helps us once we have the large data source, we can you know, perform our data science on it, we can run predictive algorithms, we can perform data analytics on it and in short, we use that data to make future. Decisions. So there's the significance of ETL.
