✍ The steel pipe micro-tension reducing machine is mainly used for reducing and sizing operations on raw pipes after rolling. It is generally equipped after some cross-rolling units such as three-roll pipe rolling mills. The tension reducer sets the roll speed according to the specifications during the rolling process to maintain a certain tension between each frame to reduce the increase in wall thickness of the steel pipe. A factory's 14-stand individually driven steel pipe micro-tension reducer frequently developed green line defects during the rolling process. After analysis and elimination of other factors, it was determined that the manufacturing error of the sliding plates of No. 7 and 8 square stands of the main base was too large, which caused the square stand to tilt due to force during the rolling process, resulting in a green line on the steel pipe.
