At LMP Action, we believe in the power of Empowerment and Leadership! Meet Scarlet, a young person who has been attending our camp for the past few years. This Easter, she became a young leader, spending her entire holiday learning how to work as a support staff member. Scarlet has been a fantastic addition to the team, Inspire ATA are now able to work with Scarlet to offer her a teaching assistant apprenticeship AND we are employing her to work with us during the holiday periods. We love stories like this, where the impact we are making is helping young people's futures! Young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow – they are the leaders of today! Our holiday camps provides a platform for young people to step into their potential as agents of change and drivers of social impact initiatives. We encourage our young people to use their voices and talents to advocate for positive change in their communities and beyond. From organising sustainability projects to leading peer mentorship programmes, our young people are making a real difference in the world! Join us in empowering the next generation of leaders and change-makers. Together, we can inspire young people to be the driving force behind creating a brighter and more inclusive future for all. Does your company have something to offer that could make an impact on the lives of our young people? Can you share your experience, career journey or other inspiring message. Email us at info@lmp-action.co.uk to discuss how we can partner to make a difference. #Empowerment #Leadership #YouthEmpowerment #SocialImpact #ChangeMakers #SummerCampLeadership #MakeADifference #EmpowerYouth #JoinTheMission #MakeAnImpact #PartnerWithUs #Corporatesocialresponsibility #CSR #SocialImpact #SocialMobility #Makeadifference #workshops

I recently began the Coaching Mastery 2024 course with Fields of Learning and attended Module 1 of the course back in June. I am super excited to be given this opportunity to train as a coaching champion, building on what I have learnt already as part of Efficiency North's EN:Lighten programme. If anyone is interested in learning more about coaching or setting up a potential chemistry session, please let me know. #coaching #selfdevelopment #wemakeithappentogether
Would some extra inspiration, motivation and self-empowerment be of value to you for your personal and professional development? Our two trainee coaching champions, HR Manager Natalie Irving and EN:Able Futures' Apprenticeship Manager Sophie Richardson, are now seeking coachees to support their training as accredited coaches. This will initially involve a ‘chemistry session’ to make sure the chemistry is right for working together, followed by around 6-8 free one hour or 90-minute sessions online. The development of coaching champions is one key element of the EN:Lighten programme which coaching and leadership development experts Fields of Learning are delivering with the team this year. The programme is a key step in our organisational journey and Good to Great 3-year business strategy to enable the best performance environment to build strength and capacity for future growth. Wowzers! What a memorable May....these monthly wrap-ups are a great moment of reflection on all the things that the WELL Training team have completed in supporting the transformation, development and growth of our learners and clients. #teamwork #proudoftheteam #learningatwork #develop #transform #grow #leadershipdevelopment
May was a whirlwind of excitement, bursting with unforgettable moments and thrilling achievements. Let's dive into the most outstanding happenings of this extraordinary month! From introducing a new cohort of learners, to highlighting the importance of continual learning with Learning at Work Week and raising awareness for Mental Health Week. We smashed the renewal of our Information, advice and guidance (IAG) certificate! We celebrated our learner wins in May with a Leadership programme testimonial from Brandon Anderson, MBA at ICON Experiences, and two case studies; Rivus Team Leader/Supervisor Apprentice embracing the challenge of team resistance and Edgewell Personal Care Foundation Academy, a programme that allows learners to gain invaluable skills and insights to pave the way for their success. We also touched on developing your leaders, Gen Z and their career expectations, how apprenticeships can boost your business and how to successfully deliver virtual training. We shouted out on ‘follow us Friday’ about Cobra Coffee because after working with them well, we wanted to share them with you! Lastly, we introduced our first book of the month with our Turning Pages book club. Each month we will share a transformational read with you and in May we shared "Dare to Lead," written by Brené Brown. Diving into the world of leadership beyond titles and status, where leaders are accountable for nurturing potential and driving growth. May delivered a constant stream of highlights that has left us eagerly anticipating what June might bring. https://lnkd.in/epAXBTxa Steve Payne Lianne (Li) Russell Karen Mellor Adrian Cousins-Cuckson Julie Taylor Ben Wakefield MBA, QTLS nicola baxter Leanne Lloyd #may2024 #June #training #monday #mentalhealthawareness #LearningAtWorkWeek #certificateofappreciation #learningisfun #unforgettablemoments

Every Restored Leader coach begins their journey in a unique way. While some coaches participate in an apprenticeship to help them build their own coaching practice, many see the value in apprenticeship for the way it helps them better lead in the environments they’re already serving in. No matter your reason for becoming a coach, the TRL approach helps leaders take their work to meaningful heights through redeeming, living, and protecting their Core Values. But this practice isn't only for coaching apprentices. Our Restored Leadership Guidebook is made for every person who wants to understand and live out their Core Values -- the undeniable truths that about who they are. You can get our Guidebook to begin redeeming your Core Values today: https://lnkd.in/gkJnBhYX (and use the code CoreValues23 to get it completely for free!)

🌟 Celebrating National Mentoring Month as a 1st Gen Latina: Navigating the Unknowns 🌟 This National Mentoring Month, I want to shine a light on the incredible impact mentors have had on my journey, particularly as a first-generation Latina navigating the higher education system and stepping into the professional world full of unknowns due to my undocumented status. My journey has been marked by twists and turns, but I've been fortunate to gain mentors organically, mostly as a student, and watch those connections carry through into my professional life. These mentors, who entered my life serendipitously, have become instrumental in my personal and career growth. As a first-gen Latina, the higher education landscape was often a maze of uncertainty. However, my mentors served as compasses, guiding me through academic challenges and offering insights that extended beyond textbooks. Their influence was not just about achieving academic milestones; it was about building resilience and confidence. Stepping into the professional world brought a new set of challenges, especially with the added layer of being undocumented. My mentors, who have been with me since my student days, continued to play a crucial role. Their guidance, encouragement, and belief in my potential gave me the strength to break barriers and defy expectations. What makes these mentorships even more special is that they evolved organically from my student days. It's a testament to the power of genuine connections and the impact they can have on one's journey. As we celebrate National Mentoring Month, I encourage everyone, especially fellow first-gen students and professionals, to seek and embrace mentorship. You never know where these connections might lead or how they might shape your future. To my mentors, both past and present, thank you for being my guiding lights. Your influence has not only shaped my story but has inspired me to pay it forward. Iris Millán, Katie Ordinario, Luvia Moreno, Maria I. Gutierrez, Tanya Cabrera, Clarisol Duque, Luis Narvaez, David Potash, Liesl Downey, Rae Joyce Baguilat, Veronica Rodriguez #NationalMentoringMonth #FirstGenLeadership #MentorshipJourney #LatinxProfessionals #Gratitude 🌺✨
