Such a good list of government successes and bailouts to failures. This Future Made in Australia Act is exactly the type of risk we need to be taking.. the only work of “free” markets in Australia is keeping the ones tax free for global oligopolies. The cost of Renewable energy is declining faster than anyone thought. A great input to future makers.
Coalition media was fast out of the blocks to bag Albo's Future Made in Australia Act. Fossil attacks will persist until the Election. Here's why it makes sense #auspol https://lnkd.in/gMS3VGNj

What a complete joke and insult to Canadian citizens and businesses. Your own PBO watchdog confirmed that Canadians pay more in carbon tax than they receive in rebates. Now Justin Trudeau plans on spending more tax dollars on attempting to some how change the facts and truths about the costly carbon tax in his favour. A carbon tax that has actually done nothing to reduce carbon emissions. A carbon tax on Canadian citizens and businesses in a country that has less than 3% of the world’s pollution. The carbon tax is nothing more than a revenue generator for spend thrift Trudeau. https://lnkd.in/eDkn8ETQ

https://lnkd.in/gEkZ7DAz ☝️ More costly federal political BS coming our way. Approximate cost to us the taxpayers? $7 million. Just wait, that's the approximate, we'll never know the real cost. There is the question of salaries, consulting fees, bs fees, unrelated fees, revision fees, extra-curricular activity fees, special effect fees, procurement fees, whole lotta blah, blah, blah fees and then fine-tuning and delivery fees. Acting fees? Not sure yet, ads haven't come out yet. Space rental fees? Another unknown, television commercials, radio commercials, sandwich board advertising, what platform(s) will be used to profess this propaganda? Direct mail, junk mail, town criers, the possibilities are basically endless at this point. Honestly don't believe all is covered in the $7 million. Keep in mind what we were told about the original cost of the ArriveCan app scam. The AG can't even determine the exact final cost other than coming up with an approximate of $60 billion but even she assumes it is much higher as she was denied access, records were "lost" or never even there to begin with, leaving big gaps resulting in best guess estimate. Big difference between original cost estimate and final best guess estimate, HUGE difference, billions of dollars worth of difference. 🤔💭🤔 Our entire federal government is a scam including singh and the Bloc. All coalition parties, seeking to uphold their own agendas, not focusing on the best interests for Canadians and Canada. If they were, we wouldn't be in the mess we are in. 🤔💭🤔

Last week, we got to organise a very cool stunt outside the European Parliament with WeMove Europe and Avaaz. Did you know? 🛫 EU governments are losing out on almost 33 million euros per hour because of their failure to tax Europe’s wealthiest individuals fairly. 🛫 In France or Italy, the average citizen pays a tax rate that is at least double that of a billionaire. 🛫 A progressive wealth tax between a 2 and 5 percent rate on the EU’s multi-millionaires and billionaires could collect 286.5 billion euros annually. 🛫 The wealthiest 1 percent in Europe own nearly half of all the financial wealth on the continent. 🛫 Nearly 7 in 10 Europeans agree that governments should tax the rich to support the poor. Every hour that governments fail to act is worth millions. Millions that could be funnelled into better healthcare, schools or fighting the #climatecrisis.
Yesterday, a private jet landed outside the #EuropeanParliament to call on MEPs to support a European #WealthTax. Many MEPs came out to take photos and show their support. We were also joined by a group of climate activists from all around the world who spoke about how important it is to tax the rich to fund the fight against the #climatecrisis. Want to call on the EU to act on a wealth tax? Sign the European petition 👉 https://lnkd.in/drn5WK-8 Avaaz & WeMove Europe

My latest for ImpactAlpha: Americans want to live in places with outsize exposure to #climaterisk - and perhaps less capacity to adapt for it, between political willingness and lower taxes. How will the #municipalbond market handle the challenge? #muniland #munibonds #climatechange https://lnkd.in/eW8VT679

Hard not to see by this article that CBC is fully supporting the liberal nonsense. Climate change is real, not 100% human lead, but it's real. if Canada was gone tomorrow, we would have zero impact on the world's emissions. The carbon tax scam is not the solution, unless the money is being invested equally across Canada, to all families and to all industries. (except Quebec, they have their own system, so they should not benefit from the Carbon tax scam) Governments don't solve problems, they make red tape and suck money of taxpayers for social causes. We are being scammed, but that doesnt mean we don't have a part to play. Unreasonable taxes are not a solution. https://lnkd.in/gzb9FQtT
The next election will be a climate change election — because they all are now
