Introduced in version 3.8.0, this provider brings API Gateway emulation closer to AWS than ever before. Some noteworthy upgrades include: ✨ Support for request/response data mappings ✨ Enhanced VTL template rendering for Mapping Templates ✨ Improved AWS_PROXY Lambda integration ✨ REQUEST Lambda Authorizer support ✨ Seamless stage deployments ✨ Compatibility with most AWS integrations ⚠️ The old API Gateway provider is still available (PROVIDER_OVERRIDE_APIGATEWAY=legacy) but will be deprecated in the next major release. Now’s the time to make the switch!

Just wrapped up an incredible workshop on building and monitoring serverless applications using AWS and Datadog! ☁️ Here's a high-level breakdown of what we did: • Created a Serverless Application: Leveraged AWS Lambda for our serverless architecture. ☁️🗺️ • Integrated GitHub Webhooks: Set up a single webhook endpoint to handle GitHub events. 🖇️ • Enhancing Reliability with SNS and SQS: Enabled async processing with SNS and ensured reliable message processing with SQS. 💬 • Developed Two Lambda Functions: One for receiving GitHub events and another for processing SQS events. 🧩 • Monitoring and Debugging with Datadog: Tracked service health with APM traces, monitored API latencies and backpressure, and used error tracking for troubleshooting. 📊 Thrilled to have received a certificate for this workshop! (https://lnkd.in/gx-jkrwD) This workshop has been a game-changer in understanding how to build, deploy, and monitor serverless applications efficiently. 💡 It's amazing how combining AWS services with Datadog can boost productivity and reliability📈 A huge thank you to James Eastham for his fantastic instruction and support!👏 #aws #datadog #github #workshop #serverless #cloudcomputing #learning
