Interesting findings from the latest real-world study in children with #CysticFibrosis Homozygous for F508del in the Netherlands, further reinforcing the impact of #AI-enabled lung image analysis in assessing and optimizing CF treatment strategies. Following in the footsteps of earlier studies, this new research provides compelling evidence that the CFTR modulators Ivacaftor/Lumacaftor improve lung structure - but also highlights the need for accurate and sensitive tools to monitor CF lung disease.
