Eating al fresco Food tastes so much better
This week’s special starter takes a trip down memory lane, inspired by our very first menu 💚 Slow-cooked Cumbrian beef brisket, perfectly seasoned with horseradish and parsley, and set with clarified butter. Paired with a heavenly cheese on toast featuring Gruyere and smoked Applewood, and finished off with a green bean, bacon, and spring onion chutney. A nostalgic dish with a modern twist 😍 🙌 https://buff.ly/3Z6Q0H7

One topic missing from the #workfromhome discourse is the grilled cheese sandwich. You can't make a grilled cheese sandwich at the office! How can we expect people to work without access to grilled cheese? Another topic that is almost entirely missing from LinkedIn is recipes! Ted's Sourdough Grilled Cheese Recipe: 🔹 Two slices of sourdough bread 🔹 2 slices of Swiss cheese 🔹 2 slices of cheddar cheese 🔹 Butter (so much) The secret to happiness is to butter both sides of the bread. It's the only way. #wfh #workfromhome #butter

As a Food Coach, you learn how to honor an individuals palate, their wallet, and their cultural heritage by showing them how to cook 1. what they have 2. what they like and 3. what they can afford. Thats why the Food Coach Academy does not focus on recipes...instead we focus on "Build a... (e.g. Build a salad, soup, stir fry, stew etc) #culinarymedicine #foodismedicine #foodcoachacademy

In-N-Out Burger figured out what most of us on LI desperately struggle to figure out. And they have the discipline and humility to stick with it. What's that? Take time to figure out what you're REALLY good at and then double down on it (or, "double double" down on it 🤣). Their menu is simple. They make burgers and fries. That's literally the entire food menu! You can get all variations of that (even a "grilled cheese" which is just the bun and the cheese), but literally they just have ingredients for burgers and fries. And that allows them to do a REALLY damn good job with their food. The fries are cut fresh. The burgers are cooked to order. And the place is packed every single time I go in there...with a drive thru line around the corner. So...when you scroll this feed, you will find 100 different ideas, tips, techniques, etc. on how to prospect, how to sell, how to influence... Pick what works for you. Keep it simple. And commit yourself to becoming REALLY damn good at it. So good, that they can't ignore you...as Cal Newport would say. You got this. 🤙 PS - If you have never been, I'd recommend the double double, animal style with grilled onions and chiles. 😁
