Certainly! It is always a pleasure to bring my insights and to hear different perspectives.
Two heads are better than one! Spent the first part of this week strategizing the weeks and months ahead for one of our hotel operations and revenue. What are the top U.S. cities for hoteliers? The recent news of TPG Hotels and Resorts moving its hotel operations office right down the street from us in McKinney, TX is very exciting. This adds to the long list of hotel operators based in the Dallas market. It reminds me of when I was early in my career trying to determine the best place to live to have a long and successful hotel career. The way we see it – NYC is #1 for hotel real estate firms DC is #1 for hotel brands Dallas has firmly taken the #1 spot for hotel operations (Aimbridge Hospitality, Remington Hospitality, Omni Hotels & Resorts, Coury Hospitality, etc.). Did we get it wrong? Got another city for the top 3 and why? What cities would round out the top 5? Let us know what you think. Just for fun, no prizes awarded!
