All - The new year brings a major new nationwide disclosure requirement for individuals that own or control companies, LLC's and other entities. Compliance is now for new entities and will be coming by 1/1/25 for entities former before 1/1/24. We wrote an article that should help you start on your compliance.

32 million US small businesses will be impacted by the new #CorporateTransparencyAct ...is one of them yours? Check out the link below to see if your company is subject to the new requirement to file a disclosure of beneficial ownership. The answer is most likely yes. Small business of up to 20 employees and up to $5 million of gross revenue are required to report. As are entities that have no business activity (think about the LLC that just holds property).
