🎉 Today marked an exciting milestone for Loft! We hosted customers, partners, investors, local stakeholders and our team to celebrate the official opening of our Integration & Test Center in beautiful Golden, Colorado. Our I&T Center is a dedicated satellite fulfillment center, where Loft delivers satellites at scale to the space industry. 🛰 Our 13,000 square foot facility features ISO-8 cleanrooms and space for inventory, assembly and rework, satellite storage, satellite production, environmental testing, and research and development. Once the satellites leave this building, they’re on their way to space. This is an important part of how we make space simple. Big Announcement! 🛰 We're teaming up with Marlan Holding to form Orbitworks, the Middle East’s first private space infrastructure company! Orbitworks is a joint venture between Loft and Marlan Space focused on producing satellite constellations. With initial funding of over $100M, Orbitworks will leverage Loft's expertise in satellite integration, test, and operations. Together, Loft and Marlan Space will build out a satellite integration and test center in Abu Dhabi capable of producing smallsats up to 500kg. We’re excited for Orbitworks to partner with companies across the UAE's booming space sector to fly missions for customers in the UAE, the broader Gulf region, and all over the world. 🚀Go for launch! YAM-7 is launching on Transporter-11! 🛰 Hydrosat's Van Zyl-1 will fly a thermal infrared imager that provides insights into agricultural water management, monitor droughts, and support food security initiatives, playing a vital role in both commercial and civil government initiatives. ⚡ YAM-7 will also serve as another virtual mission-enabled satellite node in our space infrastructure. By abstracting away the hardware, and providing access to Sensing, Connectivity and Compute Resources, we support the development and deployment of AI applications in space. Little Place Labs is teaming up with Loft Orbital to revolutionize real-time data processing in space. 🛰️ Under a US Air Force Phase 2 Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) initiative, Little Place Labs will deploy its cutting-edge analytics software to Loft’s YAM-6 satellite. This collaboration aims to enhance maritime domain awareness by leveraging Loft’s low-latency space infrastructure and Little Place Labs’ AI-powered edge computing. Helsing, the leading new defense company in Europe, today announced that it has successfully deployed advanced AI capabilities on YAM-6, a satellite node part of Loft Orbital's space infrastructure. The extended tests focus on real-time onboard radio frequency signal detection and their characterisation, enabling upcoming military grade Signal Intelligence and Cognitive Anti-Jamming applications.
