Cyban Investor Update How does a non-invasive device revolutionize brain injury management? Join us on ASX Briefs as we welcome Mary-Beth Brinson from Cyban Pty Ltd, the medtech trailblazer behind the innovative Brain Pulse Monitor. Discover how this cutting-edge technology provides continuous brain oxygen monitoring from the trauma site all the way to hospital discharge, giving clinicians real-time data to make quick, life-saving decisions. Dr. Brinson breaks down the device's use of optical sensors and machine learning algorithms, showcasing how it dramatically outperforms traditional, often subjective monitoring methods. #MedInvest #brainmonitor #healthcare

What is the Role of MRI Scans in MS Treatment? This question, might have crossed your mind once or twice … or in my case, dozens of times! 😉 In my previous video I explained how MRI scans are used in diagnosing MS. However, MRIs are also taken yearly, often using contrast, to detect changes in MS. These scans enable clinicians to distinguish between old and new lesions, guiding both medical and rehabilitative treatments. Here is how rehab clinicians can use this information: Do you use information from brain images to guide the rehab treatment of someone affected by MS? #MS #NeuroRehab #MultipleSclerosis #BrainImaging #BRAC

2nd Myths About Decompression Therapy 🌟 “Flexion Extension Film” Flexion Extension Films can provide insights into spinal dynamics, the angles involved (2.5°, 5°, 12.5°) are minor and don't always correlate directly with treatment outcomes. These minimal changes may seem big in people’s lives, Flexion Extension Films help us pinpoint areas where we can create space, pull, and oscillate to aid disc reabsorption. We integrate MRI imaging for precise treatment planning—no guesswork, just evidence. #DecompressionTherapy #FlexionExtensionFilm #SpinalHealth #PatientCare #MRIImaging #EvidenceBasedMedicine #HealthcareInnovation

Suffering from a concussion or other traumatic brain injury (TBI) can completely change the course of your life—especially if doctors and traditional imaging tell you "nothing is wrong." It can leave you feeling hopeless. However, advanced imaging can show damage in the form of metabolic function (or dysfunction) that a traditional MRI cannot see. And when there is damage we can see, there is hope. Dr. Shai Efrati shares more in a recent presentation at the Integrative Healthcare Symposium. Stroke is the second most common cause of death worldwide. In the USA it ranks in the top five causes of death. It is also a leading cause of disability globally. Time is the scarcest resource in stroke management. Rapid diagnosis and access to specialized care is crucial. Currently, in the field, we use behavioral assessments (the acronym FAST sums it up nicely) to determine if someone is having a stroke. Obelab Inc., a company in which I am a Director, has been successfully testing an exciting AI powered cerebral oximeter application (NIRSIT-X) that: • Ambulances can be equipped with so that an objective assessment of stroke can be made in the field – saving valuable time. • Can be used for continuous bedside monitoring to detect early neurological deterioration. • Helps deduce cerebral perfusion with high levels of accuracy (rSO2 and HbO2/Hbr values). We are actively looking for strategic partners to enable us to bring it to the US market quickly. #stroke #medtech #cerebraloximeter #nirsit #strokemanagement #strokedetection #emt #cardiovascular #ischemicstroke #strokecenters #radiology #strategicinvestors #vc #medtechventures #fnirs
