Researchers at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute (MCRI) in Melbourne and the University of Birmingham have achieved a major breakthrough in blood stem cell engineering. This innovative development successfully replicates blood stem cells similar to those found in the human body. By overcoming critical barriers in stem cell production, this advancement opens the door to creating cells that can generate red and white blood cells, as well as platelets, offering promising new treatment possibilities for children suffering from leukaemia and bone marrow disorders. I am thrilled to share that our paper, "A Comparison of Branched DNA and Reverse Transcriptase Quantitative Polymerase Chain Reaction Methodologies for Quantitation of Lipid Nanoparticle Encapsulated mRNA", has been published in the Bioanalysis Journal! This work represents a significant step forward in mRNA quantification, particularly highlighting the transition from bDNA to RT-qPCR methodologies for encapsulated mRNA. Our study provides insights that could serve as a blueprint for regulatory agencies and biotechnology companies working on mRNA-based therapeutics. Special thanks to my amazing co-authors and collaborators for their hard work and dedication. #science #biotechnology #research #mRNA #bioanalysis #PCR #pharmacokinetics #publication Read the full paper here: https://lnkd.in/gtXBQmp3

We saw how programs with great value suffered hopelessly trying to manufacture enough iPSC-derived therapeutic cells for later trial needs. Start with good iPSCs reprogrammed to completion, or re-reprogram the iPSCs you have deeply vested with the Allele's mRNA method so that the iPSCs can passage well into the billions without any spontaneous differentiation or crashing. #iPSC, #GMP_iPSC, #CIRM, #Cell_Therapy_CDMO
