Supporting Barnet residents with free home energy advice to take practical action🔋 As part of our efforts to help residents tackle rising energy costs, we’ve partnered with Groundwork London’s Green Doctor service to launch Barnet’s Free Home Energy Fix. 💚 This initiative offers FREE, tailored energy-saving support to the borough’s most vulnerable residents, including: - A free home energy visit - Energy-saving kits like LED bulbs and draught-proofing materials - Personalised energy-saving advice, tips on switching suppliers, and help accessing government grants With the energy price cap rising and households facing increased financial pressure, this service is crucial in helping residents save money, reduce energy consumption, and stay warm this winter. Eligible households include: - Residents aged 60+ - Families with children under 10 - Low-income households (earning under £21,000) - People with long-term health conditions With 40% of the borough’s carbon emissions coming from homes, the campaign helps contribute to our sustainability goals, of becoming a net zero borough by 2042. Thank you to B&M Retail 👏🏼 for sponsoring the campaign with providing 4 x £100 vouchers to spend in their stores, up for grabs to residents that make a referral by 25 February 2025. Watch the campaign video to see how residents like Janet, featured with Green Doctor Afeli, are benefiting from this free service 👉🏼 https://lnkd.in/e6VvdyaK Please spread the message to anyone who could benefit.
