My Remote Internship Experience Introduction: As a web development enthusiast, I was thrilled to land a remote internship with Prodigy Infotech. The task was to build a Responsive Landing Page and TIC TAC TOE Web App using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I was excited to put my skills to the test. In this blog post, I’ll share my experience of working on this project, the challenges I faced, and what I learned from it. The Project: The project was to build a simple responsive landing page and TIC TAC TOE web App. The website had to be responsive, visually appealing, and interactive. I had to bring it to life using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. HTML Structure: I started by creating the HTML structure of the Tasks. I divided the page into sections using HTML5 semantic elements such as <header>, <nav>, <main>, and <footer>. I also added the necessary content, including headings, paragraphs, and buttons. CSS Styling: Next, I moved on to styling the website using CSS. I created a separate stylesheet and wrote CSS rules to style each section of the Tasks. I used CSS selectors, properties, and values to customize the layout, colors, fonts, and spacing. I also used CSS media queries to make the website responsive and adaptable to different screen sizes. JavaScript Interactivity: To add interactivity to the Tasks, I used JavaScript. I wrote JavaScript code to animate the buttons, toggle the navigation menu, and display a modal window. Challenges: One of the biggest challenges I faced was making the website responsive. I had to use CSS media queries to adjust the layout, font sizes, and spacing for different screen sizes. Another challenge was debugging the JavaScript code, as it was difficult to identify the errors. What I Learned: Through this project, I learned the importance of writing clean, semantic HTML code. I also learned how to use CSS media queries to create responsive designs. Additionally, I gained experience in writing JavaScript code to add interactivity to a website. Conclusion: My remote internship experience was a valuable learning experience. I learned how to build a Responsive Landing Page and TIC TAC TOE Web App using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I gained confidence in my web development skills. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work on this project, and I’m excited to apply my skills to future projects. Growing up, I was always drawn to operating in the background, preferring solitude to the spotlight. While I won't say I dislike attention, I don't particularly enjoy it. However, as I've matured, I've realized the importance of visibility in laying the groundwork for success. It's about putting yourself out there, demonstrating your abilities, and opening the door to a world of possibilities, which leads to more people knowing who you are. LinkedIn is a place where people make connections. And I've always wanted to get into it, but I keep putting it off. Then fate intervened with a consistency challenge hosted by Boluwatife Rotimi. It struck me as a perfect opportunity to step outside of my comfort zone, powered by my natural knack for taking on challenges. So, without hesitation, I jumped into the challenge, committing to 50 days of posting. I'm not sure what I'll be sharing, but believe me, it will be fun. Before I forget, my name is Ogunya Fortunate, and I'm a Software engineering student and Front-end enthusiast who is passionate about creating exceptional user experiences. I've been honing my skills in this area for about two years. This 50-day journey is about more than just improving my LinkedIn profile; it's about making connections, improving skills, and taking on exciting projects. So join me on this journey as we explore the dynamic world of technology together. Let's connect, share ideas, and create something truly amazing! Come along for the ride; it will be out of this world! 🚀 #50daysConsistencyChallenge #FrontendDeveloper #WebDevelopment #HTML5 #CSS3 #JavaScript #WebDesign #CodeNewbie
