#Hamas appointed Yahya #Sinwar as its new general leader. The announcement comes after the organisation’s previous leader, Ismail #Haniyeh, was assassinated in #Tehran. His appointment as the group’s overall leader represents a major victory for hardliners within the group, especially those who support aligning Hamas with #Iran. However, this is hardly a momentous occasion, as Sinwar was already eclipsing Haniyeh in both popularity and political power. Under Sinwar, the group is unlikely to change directions, but is likely to present a more unified, hard-line front, driving an even harder negotiating position over the release of hostages. The killing of 13000 children, the killing of 32000 Palestinians, the burning, amputation and injury of 77000 Palestinians, the destruction of civilian infrastructure in Gaza to prevent the Palestinians from living there, the starvation of Palestinians in Gaza and the denial of entry of food and medicine, doesn't that qualify Israel to be designated as a terrorist organization? The Palestinians resistance is classified by the US and UK as terrorists, they have not committed anything close to the Israeli atrocities in Palestine!!! so why??
