30 Grosvenor Square - 2000 M2 of Knauf Calcium Sulphate Raised Floor LRF is nearing completion of the installation on this high-end project. The project consists of 2000M2 of Knauf GIFA calcium sulphate double layer-raised floor installed across multiple areas. The installation includes acoustic pads, two skin layers - 50mm build up, varying heights with some areas installed at 1200mm including heavy grade stringers, cross bracing and U-Channel. It is a great project for LRF to have been part of, and it has been satisfying to watch it all come together for our valued client.

The Knauf GifaFloor FHB System is a structural T&G hollow floor system suitable to be installed directly to pedestals and receive almost any finish directly. One of the benefits of the system is the range of thickness that are available. 25, 28, 32 & 38mm. There is also an option to apply a second layer to the system to overall improve the deflection and load capability of the sub floor - particularly if there is a highly sensitive finish that calls for as little deflection tolerance as possible. The benefit? It means that the subfloor system is hugely flexible to its application and can be specified appropriately to ensure the minimum amount of material is being used specific to that project requirements. In this instance, Access Floors Distribution (AFD) have supplied a double layer of FHB32 + FHB18, including all accessories, acoustic pedestal pads and pedestal understructure to suit. GifaFloor FHB "Plus" 32+18mm achieves: ✅ A whopping 9kN working load ✅ 90 Minute Fire Resistance ✅ Excellent Acoustic Performance ✅ 100% Recyclability / Low Embodied Carbon Product ✅ Eurofins Indoor Air Quality - GOLD And of course, all whilst being able to install and walk on, almost immediately. 🔎 We recently completed a survey of a property with a significant amount of Galbestos cladding, totalling approx. 300 sqm, as seen in the image below. For those unfamiliar with Galbestos, it is a type of composite material used mainly in the mid-20th century for roofing and siding. Developed as a corrosion-resistant product, it combines galvanized steel with a bitumen and asbestos coating. 🔬 The asbestos used in Galbestos is typically Chrysotile (white asbestos), which was favoured for its fire-resistant and insulative properties. However, like all asbestos-containing materials, Galbestos poses serious health risks if disturbed, as it can release harmful asbestos fibres into the air. It is quite rare for structures such as this canopy to be covered with Galbestos, adding a unique feature to this survey. Our survey was conducted by the experienced Surveyors Thomas Swann and Aaron Wade, who ensured a thorough inspection and safety recommendations. RSK Asbestos is part of the RSK Group #Galbestos #Surveying #TeamWork

What is the use of polyacrylamide in the piling site? The performance of PAM is used to form a colloid after dissolution with water, forming a protective layer on the well wall to prevent collapse, thereby improving work efficiency, generally for the formation of unstable sediment layer structure. For example, the cobblestone layer is more soft, and it is easy to have holes, and it is necessary to add some cellulose to plug the leak. #polyacrylamide

Did you know that you can choose Troldtekt based on the carbon reduced cement type FUTURECEM™? 🌍💡 FUTURECEM exploits the synergies between calcined clay and limestone filler. In this way, much of the burnt clinker in the cement can be replaced. The result is cement with an approximately 30 per cent lower carbon footprint. When you choose Troldtekt acoustic panels based on FUTURECEM, you not only get the strength, durability and effective fire protection that Troldtekt is known for. You also get a product with a carbon footprint that is 22 and 38 per cent lower, respectively, than for Troldtekt based on traditional grey and white cement. Are you curious about Troldtekt based on FUTURECEM? Check it out here👇 https://lnkd.in/dFUePfjp

A fresh lot of Warmset Gold ready to go into the slab of a future warehouse. For in-slab applications, we use the same Warmset heating element without the fiberglass mesh. The in-slab installation requires longer times, but sometimes projects have constraints so we can work around it with a specific in-slab heating mat. #underfloorheating #newbuildings #farinfraredheating

Introducing Rainman’s new frame watermaker systems! After the successful launch of its Torrent, Rainman designed its existing models in a single, framed unit for easier installation and fewer external lines. Three frame units are available in three distinct AC-powered configurations. 1. Frame-AC-230L-Torrent – Largest unit and the only AC system requiring more power than the other systems. It has 3 x 40” membranes and makes up to 230lph (60gph). 2. Frame-AC-140L – Framed version of the most popular Rainman with 2 x 40” membranes. AC powered and making up to 140lph (37gph). 3. Frame-AC-100L – A new configuration with 3 x 21” membranes. More expensive and less efficient than the 140L version, but it fits a very tidy and narrow footprint
