How Long Does It Take Evict Tenant? It depends upon the reason for eviction and the length of the tenant’s occupancy This all depends on if your tenant decides to contest the matter or not. On average, it’s a 50/50 percent on cases being contested or defaulted. If the tenant does not respond or contest the matter, possession is granted by default. If the tenant does respond, then possession is granted by the judgment at trial. BALTIMORE: DRUID HILL PARK POOL NO. 2 Built: 1921 Desegregated: 1955 Drained: 1956 Public pools were common in American cities before the 1950s and most were officially “whites only”. When the Supreme Court declared segregated access to public amenities (such as pools) to be unconstitutional, cities circumvented integration by simply removing the amenities for everybody. In short, rather than integrate public pools, many cities decided to demolish them altogether. Subsequently, beginning in the 60s, there was an explosion in the popularity of backyard swimming pools in the suburbs which were, of course, mostly whites-only due to restrictive covenants and exclusionary zoning. In the name of racism and avoiding integration, American cities effectively eliminated a public good and privatised it for only those who could afford it.

R1 806 000 | 3 BEDROOM FREEHOLD FOR SALE IN ROSEVILLE Pretoria, Roseville Perfect home for you and your family. Give your loved ones a sense of pride knowing they have a place to call home or start your property profile. Finding a place to lay your head should not be much of a struggle; especially when you have people like us working around the clock to help you navigate your way through choice of that place that is both affordable and outstanding. Homes are to be a place that reflects our beliefs, our strengths, what we stand for and where we are headed. Being home should award you an opportunity to live like a King or Queen in a castle, with your Prince and Princesses running around freely. You cannot achieve that in a limited space. If you know what I am talking about then surely you will understand why I consider this to be a lifetime opportunity. The ability to provide shelter is one of the most delicate responsibilities to any and every parent. But that is not complete if the shelter is not able to provide all they need in order to grow their wings and fly. This property provides a friendly neighborhood, a community of people who look after their own. With the schools, parks, convenient stores and more so close, need I say more? Opportunities are not always as they normally say; but that should not be a phrase to describe your home status. This is because, you do have an opportunity to own a home right here. A little touch here and there; you'll be left with a wonder. https://lnkd.in/dv_iqMuy #homesweethome #homeforlife #houseforsale #propertyforsale

This is a film called “Where the Houses Used to Be” about London Council Estates in Battersea. They flattened beautiful old houses (because they had become run down and costly to refurbish/maintain) and built flats. My Dad is in the film as he was born and raised in Battersea. This is a really interesting look at the importance of places for people and taking people along on the journey, ensuring we cater for all. If anyone wants to see my little Dad, who would have been about 14 years old at the time, you can fast forward to 34mins to 40 mins where they talk about making spaces for young people. My Dad is wearing a red jumper and discusses the bad rep that the film gives of the youth. Bless! The full film is about 48 mins all in. I found it so informative even now. I’d especially recommend for anyone working on local authority, public and civic, placemaking, and residential schemes. When designing for the future, it is good to look back. We are working with some forward thinking local authorities who are making some wonderful changes for communities and preserving people’s homes for the future. #housing #placemaking #residents #residentialdesign #tenantrepresentation #socialhousing #community #loneliness #youth #elderly #playgrounds #youthmentalhealth #london #londonproperty #londonconstruction #londonrealestate #localauthority #localauthorities #publicspace #public #civic #battersea #southlondon
