Some of the Lone Beacon team members got together yesterday to celebrate our 11th anniversary! The outing consisted of the team going on a Duck Boat Tour, which is a classic Boston experience. Thank you to all the team members who have gotten us this far and to the amazing team we have today!

Sr. Executive Coach and Strategist at Transcend | A dynamic relationship builder passionate about maximizing and engaging talent throughout organizations
Sometimes just taking a deep breath and engaging in our playful sides is exactly what we need to reset and reengage in news ways in the business. Love this reminder Hayley that laughter, creativity, teamwork, and play can have a significant impact on our connections and our joy. #wellness #joy #teamwork #impact #BusinessPerformance
One of Transcend's team commitments is "Joy," and I truly experienced that during our Tri-annual meeting earlier this month. Jaci, Kevin, and Mike organized a scavenger hunt that included rollerblading, a gondola ride over Spokane Falls, and a merry-go-round ride - and those were just the first three stops! It was a fantastic reminder to embrace joy in everything we do… which is even sweeter when your team wins the competition! Special shout-out to Craig, Makenzie, and Kevin for that. 🥇 Here’s to more fun and memorable moments.

https://lnkd.in/geVgq5pi #InsuranceStory: I went to school for Business Administration having no clue what career I wanted to pursue. One day while in the library at SUNY Oswego (which didn't happen very often! lol), I decided to look at a book that outlined different careers you could pursue with a 4-year Business Administration Degree. I came across "Insurance Underwriter" which sounded interesting. It was at that moment I decided I wanted to try and get a "leg up" by gaining some insurance experience through an internship. Not knowing the difference between an insurance carrier or agency, I decided to open the phonebook yellow pages (an actual printed book that listed all businesses by category from A-Z, lol) and solicit each insurance business asking if they'd be willing to hire a college intern for the summer. Low and behold, I received a call back from a local prominent independent agency who was willing to bring me in. I spent the summer processing personal lines policies and backing up our claims department by taking claims calls. I continued to work at the agency throughout my senior year of college and during my spring semester, I attended thirteen 8-hour Saturdays of insurance licensing classes. By the time I graduated college, I was a licensed Property Casualty Insurance Broker. I was hired by this agency as a personal-lines insurance broker after graduation, and that is how I began my insurance career! That was 30 years ago and since that time I have held various insurance roles on both the agency and carrier side of the insurance business. I have worked in personal, commercial, life, financial services and surety lines of business. Almost two years ago, I had the opportunity to join Erie Insurance Group as a Senior District Sales Manager in Central New York. I quickly learned what an amazing culture Erie exhibits and I'm SO PROUD to work for such a tremendous organization and the amazing agents that represent us!! Have you ever considered #insurance? Sick of just surviving in a job? Click below to see where you could thrive with an #insurancecareer. We are #hiring! Come join an amazing place to work! Today, ERIE celebrates our 99th Anniversary. While next year is a big milestone, it doesn't take away from the fact that we're proud to provide our customers with the same service today that we gave in 1925.

📣 Dublin Hospitality Sector Unites: Time for Change! As costs soar and businesses across Dublin struggle to keep their doors open, we at Yamamori are joining the call for action. Rising operational expenses are hitting the hospitality sector, a cornerstone of Dublin's vibrant culture. On October 15th, we’re standing with our fellow businesses to protest against unsustainable costs that are putting the future of our industry at risk. 🔴 What’s Happening? Skyrocketing costs—rent, energy, supplies—are making it increasingly difficult for restaurants, bars, and cafes to stay afloat. These pressures not only threaten jobs but also impact the amazing experiences we love bringing to our community. 💡 Why It Matters For local businesses like us, the current cost environment isn’t just a challenge—it’s unsustainable. Every menu you enjoy, every event you attend, and every meal we prepare depends on the balance between quality and affordability. Without relief, we may lose the heart of what makes Dublin’s hospitality scene so special. 🙌 Support Your Local! We’re asking our community to stand with us. This isn’t just about businesses—it’s about protecting the livelihoods of thousands of workers and ensuring that Dublin’s hospitality scene thrives. If you care about your favourite local spots, join us in raising your voice. Let’s work together for a sustainable future. 🔗 More Info https://lnkd.in/eHu2zenG #SupportHospitality #DublinProtest #TimeForChange #YamamoriCares

We’ve got… the experience. Later this year, we will celebrate our 25th anniversary alongside two of the original staff members—Angela Paul and Colin Pascoe—who are still enthusiastically and expertly engaged in every aspect of our operations. Both of these industry icons have experience that predates the launch of Monitor New Zealand, with both working together within the Answer Scan business and boasting over 30 years involvement in the New Zealand monitoring industry. Over that time these two have seen a massive amount of change, but one thing has remained unchanged—consistent customer service is key. Monitor New Zealand is the responsive and diligent business you see today due to the collective experience and knowledge of these two people. As Albert Einstein said: “Information is not knowledge. The only source of knowledge is experience, and you need experience to gain wisdom”.
