🌍 Feeling a lot emotions after the election results? You’re not alone. Post-election days can bring a flood of feelings. Here are three ways to process this time and keep moving forward, even when it feels so hard: 1️⃣ Allow yourself to feel whatever comes up. It’s okay to feel sadness, disappointment, or even anger. Don’t rush to push these feelings aside—let yourself experience them fully. Emotions are a natural response, and taking time to process them can be grounding. 2️⃣ Take actions you know to take. If something calls you to act—whether it’s volunteering, donating, or having an open conversation—lean into it. Turning feelings into purposeful action, no matter how small, can be a powerful way to feel more in control. 3️⃣ Seek community. Being with people who share your values can be comforting and energizing. Find community where you can, possibly in an ERG (Employee Resource Group) at work or a local organization. Being around like-minded people can remind you that you’re not alone, and you can continue working toward change together.
