Have you seen the Origami-inspired solar panel? This Levante Origami solar panel is a compact piece of technology, rated at 50% lighter than all the alternatives I've talked about in previous posts. The panel captures energy according to how widely it's open to expose more or less of the photovolatic cells. Sara Plaga and Kim-Joar Myklebust developed this technology, drawing inspiration for the design from folding solar panels used on satellites. Blackpool is transforming into a tech haven with the launch of the Silicon Sands masterplan! 🏖️🖥️ This ambitious initiative aims to establish Blackpool as a premier destination for data centre development. Silicon Sands is set to revolutionize the data centre industry with a carbon-friendly approach. Tackling the challenge of limited power availability for high-performance GPU data centres, Silicon Sands will provide at least 50MVA of renewable energy through a partnership with Electricity North West and the potential development of a solar farm. Additionally, they will champion the use of liquid immersion cooling technologies, which will significantly reduce environmental impact and make data centres up to 50% more energy efficient. The statements made by WAVJA, Inc. are quite remarkable: - 30x smaller than solar panels - 7,5x more output from both solar and artificial light If those statements are real, then it's astounding don't you think 🤔 🤯?
