Friends, family, and colleagues—I’m sharing something that’s been a labor of love, reflection, and truth for nearly three years. Today is the International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence in conflict (United Nations Security Council Resolution 1820). I would like to draw your attention to the important presenter-led documentary film by Sheryl Sandberg (Link below). We colleagues at #teambayer had the opportunity to watch this film today on site. It contains shocking and devastating interviews with victims, witnesses, officials, hostages, and family members. I admit that it has not been easy watching. However: compared to the pain of all affected people - how can we not look and listen?
