If last year is anything to go by you'd barely folded up the Summer parasol and got the sand from in-between your toes and our order book for Christmas mailings was already starting to fill up! Wodehouse have been a supplier of direct mail services since 2003. The quality of both our service and compelling creative of our in-house design team means we fit that perfect niche of quality design and mailpack delivery. As we've said before what people don’t realise, is that even though Christmas seems a long way off, the logistics to get the ‘best slot’ on print production lines and mail services to drop at the optimum date are more highly coveted that you think. But let’s face it, it’s getting an all-important message across. Christmas appeals often offer the greatest returns for a charity within the fundraising calendar. Every aspect of your campaign, business or charity, comes from one supplier – Wodehouse. We’re very competitive, we offer ‘design to doorstep’ The beauty of this, is that it’s both streamlined, tax efficient, seamless, and enables us to keep our clients informed at every stage. So whether you've been naughty or nice this year Wodehouse will always deliver and keep those smiles on faces! We often get asked "Why do people take the interview?" And we respond with "Usually they want to give feedback but we also incentivize with a gift card or charitable donation." It's often assumed that the latter is of higher importance. We recently launched a post interview survey and early results are that 53% of people take the win/loss/churn interview because they want to provide feedback to the vendor (our client) versus 33% who want the financial incentive or gift. Personally, I found this FASCINATING. What is motivating many of these buyers and decision makers is a willingness to provide their time and knowledge to help. Even if they selected a competitor or cancelled their subscription...if handled correctly, this is an INCREDIBLE opportunity to learn from these situations. Our clients identify what they could have done differently, what they did well, what their sales experience was like, how the messaging can be improved, what their competitors are doing, what needs to be in their product roadmaps, how they are viewed in the market, pricing feedback, what is the perception of Customer Success right through from Onboarding to Renewal, Support, and Services, and so much more. Win/Loss and Churn Analysis programs require effort but the insights are invaluable. #winloss #churnanalysis #b2bsaas #customersuccess #productmarketing #competitiveintelligence #professionalservices #b2bpricing

You’ve probably heard of “premiums” in marketing (also known as “gift with purchase” or GWP). It’s a classic strategy where you offer a free gift at checkout to give customers that extra push to hit the “Complete Purchase” button. Maybe it’s a free hat or a sample fragrance added to their cart at no extra cost to the customer. And the data shows it works. Premiums motivate customers to complete the purchase instead of backing out at the last second. But what if, instead of offering a discount or a free gift, you gave your customers the chance to unlock a donation to a charity they care about? No extra cost to them, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂. That’s what we do at Inspired. It’s like the idea of premiums, but your customers get to support a charity with every purchase they make. So not only are you boosting conversions at checkout, you’re also supporting a great cause in the process. #GetInspired #CauseMarketing #Premiums #DoingGood #Impact

Not sure who needs to hear this but... executives don’t want your branded chachkies. Would you want a cheap-looking charger with some company’s logo on it or a mug with someone else’s promo message? Probably not. Neither would the executive you are targeting. Some better options: A gift that supports a charity they care about A game they can play with their kids A Yeti tumbler or high end notebook branded with their name on it If you need more ideas please reach out. I am on a personal mission to end bad gifting. #clientporter #corporategifting #executivegifts #dooropeners

Coaching Attorneys to Leverage their Experience through Strategic Marketing and Business Development Efforts
Being able to spend time connecting with your network is a cornerstone of business development. I was able to get coffee at a local shop (which I learned today is a non-profit that funnels their profits back into the community and on top of that many of their workers are volunteers). If you find yourself in Levittown, PA I highly recommend checking out The Bridge Coffee and Community. Two things came to mind: 1. Keep yourself relevant with your connections. If they don’t know what you’re doing at work you likely don’t know what they’re doing. Stay top of mind with those in your network. 2. Spread the wealth. You built a network to support your career, if you can make further connections for someone you know, do it. Think of your network like a gift card, use it or lose it. (Not pictured, my dear friend Kate Schenkel, so glad we got to chat today!)

How are you today? Tell us what you want to hear from us. If you want to stay up-to-date with us, follow our Page. A client just asked, "What are the latest trends for swag bags?" Swag or on-site amenities should be an experience, not just a "here you go" bag handed out at the registration desk. Personalization is paramount. The current trend is to allow the participants to select their own items either through pre-event registration or on-site. The personal shopping experiences on-site tends to create the most excitement. Personalization is the key from headwear to shoe design. Another option we have had the request for is the participant may opt to donate the dollar amount of the their swag to a charity of choice. Use the amenity to enhance the overall experience.

THE SEASON OF (MOSTLY) MINDLESS GIFTING The gifting season is upon us, starting now and going all the way to the new year. What are you likely to pick for your family, friends and professional acquaintances? Sweets, wine, chocolates, tea cups, dinner sets, wine glasses, cakes, dry fruits, coffee, decorations, flowers, ‘Soan Papdi’ and more of the same? Have I guessed correctly? Are you wondering why I am talking in this tone? If you were to give me any of the above, I will thank you for your thought but would question your mind. I am not being rude, but do you really think people need more of the same? Most of these items, especially food, are also a matter of personal choices. On your part, you have spent the money and expressed a gesture. On my part, I might be wondering who to pass these on to. What a waste! I am not suggesting we do away with the custom of gifting, but we should be more mindful of our choices. We could simply ask recipients to pick something they need. Or do a good deed – like donating to a charity – and gifting the receipt. Or simply send a bunch of books. Yes, books make one of the best gifts. For one, they speak volumes of the kind of person you are. Even if they get passed on, they will eventually find a shelf to adorn. And don’t worry if others don’t read – do your karma and spread the good word. It still beats sending an ugly glass sculpture. P.S. You can send any number of books my way! But expect me to reciprocate likewise. So do set aside time to read.
