As a Marketer, I must admit that this was epic marketing! Bold , fresh and quite audaciously sexy! What I love about the ‘Come As You Are’ campaign is that it’s an opportunity to inspire people to be comfortable in their own shoes. The spirit of the campaign is about overcoming preconceived notions and being comfortable with your true self in all that you do. I know the concept of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is yet to be “accepted” in #Ja. However , as an aspiring #HRpractitioner I embrace #DEI. There still exists the pressure of the status quo . The way we do things around here. Growing up in musical theatre, I learned the importance of teamwork early on. On stage, my performance depended on the lights, costumes, sound, orchestra, direction, and ensemble. The show was only as good as the sum of its parts. We had each other's backs, and if something went wrong, someone stepped in to fix it. As the saying goes, "the show must go on." I firmly believe in the importance of team culture. It's the glue that holds the team together, the fuel that drives their performance, and the compass that guides their decision-making.
