The trial has been successfully tested on patients for the first time in a clinical trial coordinated by a research team at University of Galway. The key findings of this first-in-human study is the 99.1% feasibility, which means that heart bypass surgery without undergoing invasive diagnostic catheterisation is feasible and safe, driven by the good diagnostic accuracy of the cardiac CT scan and AI-powered blood flow analysis. We are thrilled to present our cutting-edge research on the automated #segmentation of #glioblastoma (#GBM) from #MRI images. By utilizing the marker-controlled watershed algorithm and fuzzy C-means clustering #machine_learning, we have developed a novel approach that shows significant improvements in accuracy and efficiency in detecting and segmenting GBM #tumors. Outer retinal layers undergo significant thinning in patients with molecularly confirmed PROM1 retinal degeneration, according a 24-month spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT) imaging study published in the American Journal of Ophthalmology. 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗡𝗲𝘂𝗿𝗼-𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 🧠: ✅Brainomix 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗨𝗦 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗜 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗸𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 Brainomix has announced new data from studies presented this week at the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS) annual meeting. 🚀 Here are the key findings presented from Brainomix recent studies: 1️⃣ Predicting Clot Recanalisation Success: In collaboration with West Virginia University, our Brainomix 360 e-ASPECTS tool analysed baseline NCCT scans to identify hyperdense clots and their lengths, showing these #biomarkers can predict successful recanalisation in large vessel #stroke patients. 2️⃣ Detecting Large Vessel Occlusion: Partnering with Mayo Clinic, West Virginia University, and Boston Medical Center, their Triage Stroke tool was validated as a reliable method for detecting #LVO in #acuteischemicstroke. Coupled with NIHSS scores, it can aid in identifying candidates for #thrombectomy, particularly in resource-constrained settings. 3️⃣ Predicting Futile Recanalisation: Collaborating with Mayo Clinic and West Virginia University, Brainomix used their 360 e-ASPECTS to quantify #ischaemic core volume and #hypoattenuation depth via net water uptake (NWU) from baseline CT scans. Results indicate that NWU can help identify patients at risk of futile recanalisation, especially those with large cores. https://lnkd.in/euQpwvdy

This project, born out of the MEDCVR lab at the University of Toronto, and I consider myself very fortunate to have had the support of my team members and supervisor. Our study focuses on developing a robust structure from motion pipeline tailored for periodic deformations observed in laryngeal endoscopic videos. By harnessing Transformer-based correspondence engines, we aim to facilitate diagnosis of airway diseases using minimally invasive techniques. While this research journey began during my undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, I'm currently pursuing my academic endeavors at Ecole Polytechnique. However, my passion for AI-driven solutions in medicine remains unwavering. As I embark on the next chapter of my career, I'm eager to explore opportunities where I can contribute my expertise in AI and medical imaging.
