Enterprise L&D: L&D in an Enterprise should be more job training than general education, and being empathetic to the Learners means helping them master their job tasks with L&D that's got Performance Validity, and not just learning things with Face Validity.

Completing an online course is no simple endeavor. It requires time, dedication, and commitment especially when it's related to learn new skills for the Career improvement.

We usually start our professional life acquiring knowledge (school, university, etc.), and when this knowledge is applied, we call it a skill. When you have knowledge and skills you become professionally valuable to others and your network grows. Consequently, when you have knowledge, skills and a network, your access to resources expands, and once you have knowledge, skills, a valuable network and resources, you will undoubtedly earn a reputation.

What is CPE? Continuing Professional Education (CPE) involves structured learning designed to help professionals maintain and enhance their skills and knowledge. Often used interchangeably with Continuing Professional Development (CPD), CPE focuses specifically on meeting requirements for licenses and certifications, while CPD encompasses a broader range of learning experiences. The main purpose of fulfilling CPE requirements and earning CPE credits is to ensure that professionals continue learning and stay current with developments in their industries. At first, I honestly felt tired of attending these sessions and didn’t see their value. However, my perspective has changed, and I now actively seek out opportunities to attend. I always learn something new, whether it’s a tool or technique I hadn’t encountered before. CPE also helps me revisit the basics, those important details that can easily be forgotten but are essential for doing my job well. It gives me a fresh perspective, allowing me to think more clearly and approach my work with new energy. It’s amazing how continuing education can change how you think and perform. If you’re not taking advantage of it, you might be missing out!

We place greater value on practical skills than simply acquiring numerous certifications without a deep understanding of the underlying concepts.

Interesting to learn that Recognition of prior learning is a very important Process used to identify, assess and certify an individual's knowledge, skills and competencies against prescribed standards or learning outcomes regardless of when, where and how they were acquired.

There are numerous opportunities in IT beyond just setting up servers and workstations.

Focus on additions not recognitions: While certificates can be valuable, the real focus should be on developing the skills and abilities needed to excel in your chosen field.
