I’m excited to share a paper, which presents a new roadmap to reducing emissions in hard-to-electrify segments of the economy published in Nature Reviews Chemistry where I am one of co-authors. The paper outlines how in the defossilized future without waste, carbon will be treated as a commodity for production of renewable fuels and chemicals. The roadmap is the outcome of a joint workshop entitled “Closing the Carbon Cycle: Opportunities in Energy Science,” organized by researchers from seven different DOE labs at PNNL on July 18 and 19, 2022. https://lnkd.in/gC9UyPn4

We discussed LOHC at the RENMAD H2 Logistic Congress. 🔝 What are LOHCs? Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers, or carriers of liquid hydrogen, enable the storage and transportation of H2 in liquid form. This was the main topic of the RENMAD H2 Logistic Congress organized by RENMAD - Energy Events, in which Ana María Férriz Quílez, Project Developer H2 at Exolum, participated. Ana stated, "Organic liquids are going to be a fundamental alternative for the large-scale storage and transport of hydrogen, leveraging existing infrastructure." This was a clear reference to the flexibility offered by our company's infrastructure. #WeAreExolum
