With available profits from every Lotterywest lotto ticket sold going back to the WA community, last financial year we were able to return $373 million back to the WA community through our grants program. This return saw 375 Western Australian not-for-profit groups and local governments benefit from 411 direct Lotterywest grants, totaling $125 million. These were delivered alongside more than $248 million in statutory grants (Health, Arts and Sport). None of this would have been possible without the support of our Lotterywest partner retail network of over 480 small businesses, and the WA community who play Lotterywest games. Because, with a little bit of lotto, we can all add a lot of hope to everyone living in WA.

There is something seemingly very wrong with a country in which slot machines are used by the state to raise funds and the ambulance service relies on donations. ‘The distribution of non- casino gaming machine profits in New Zealand (2011)’ (nothing newer on the dept internal affairs website) “Location of gaming machines Gambling venues are more likely to be located in more socio-economically deprived areas. For example, Ministry of Health analysis (2006) shows that approximately half of all non- casino gaming machines were located in deciles 8–10 in both 2003 and 2005.” At 2011, there were just over 18,000 machines in NZ. 20% duty paid. The National Lottery has made a huge difference to life across the UK – not just for the millions of prize-winners, including 7,000+ millionaires created, – but in generating and investing over £48bn for almost 700,000 community, arts, sports and heritage projects in the UK. Allwyn will build on the success of the last three decades and is committed to investing significantly over the next ten years to reignite the magic that lies at the heart of The National Lottery. Have you heard about the Bradbury Fields Lottery? We have our own lottery here at Bradbury Fields and it's all for a great cause! By participating, you support Merseyside’s blind and partially sighted community and also stand a chance to win big. Our lottery combines the excitement of winning with the satisfaction of contributing to charity. You could win cash prizes while helping improve the lives of visually impaired people. The more tickets sold, the more funds we raise to provide essential equipment and services for those affected by sight loss. These resources can significantly enhance their quality of life and make daily tasks easier. However, we need your help to make it happen. Think about it—many of us buy lottery tickets or scratch cards without ever winning big. With the Bradbury Fields Lottery, your odds are better than the National and Health lotteries, and your participation helps support a worthwhile cause. Our lottery isn't just a game; it’s a vital source of income that can change lives. And you get a shot at winning up to £25,000 every week! Even if you don’t win, you'll feel great knowing you're making a difference. Here’s how it works: When you sign up, you get six numbers that are automatically entered every week. The winning combination is based on the last digits of the week’s Fahrenheit temperatures in six European cities. Winners are notified by email, and the prize money is transferred directly to you. Join us and play for just £1 today! Sign up here: https://lnkd.in/ezrgfbmt

In Texas, gambling is generally illegal, with some specific exceptions. As stated in Texas Penal Code § 47.01 – 47.10, gambling activities, such as placing bets on games of chance or operating gambling establishments, are prohibited. However, exceptions to this rule include state-sanctioned lottery games, charitable bingo, and wagering on horse or greyhound racing at licensed racetracks. Social gambling in private settings, where no person profits other than personal winnings and the risks are the same for all participants, is also allowed. Click the link here: https://bit.ly/42tnNNE for more surprising illegal activities.
