Solar Irrigation Project Phase 2 4 x 90kW Pump Units 2 x 75kW Pump Units 1 x 45kW Pump Unit 1 x 37kW Pump Unit All pump units installed with above ground hdpe piping into a controll station. Valve/water meter, controll station built and installed. Controll room housing all VSD installed in container as per site regulations. Container consists of 8 x variable speed drives and 1 x 12kW inverter module used to power 2 centre pivots in the event of power cuts. All AC and DC switchgear. Remaining centre pivots are powered by of grid solar systems at dairy and managers houses Phase 3 Pumps are up and running on AC power, next up is the solar being phased in to reduce the effect of power cuts and electricity costs. Phase 4 4 x 315mm pipelines to a holding dam to act as "battery" storage for daylight solar pumping. Holding dam will gravity feed centre pivots in evening or when AC and DC power is not available.
