The Jobs Guy | On a mission to help Florida’s leaders and businessowners streamline the workforce system to build strong communities. Posts & articles about the process.
Florida is on track to be #1 in the nation for workforce education by 2030.
My top 5 takeaways from Adrienne Johnston's recent interview with Florida SBDC Network discussing how CareerSource Florida is helping reach this goal.
1. The CareerSource network is committed to expanding the labor force by including people who have significant barriers to employment. Doing this by equipping them with the resources and tools to succeed in a tight labor market.
2. Small businesses can get direct support, guidance, and resources, for the hiring, training, and retaining process of their employees all in one place.
3. There are over 100 CareerSource locations spread across every region of the state. EVERY business and EVERY person has access. Rural, urban, skilled, unskilled, there is a one-stop center nearby where people can get resources.
4. Apprenticeships are expanding outside of traditional "apprenticeship" industries. Working with CareerSource, the Healthcare, IT, and Data Analytics industries have all stood up recognized apprenticeship programs over the past year. This provides more opportunities for more Floridians.
5. Workforce system funding declines as the unemployment level decreases. This reality forces efficiencies across the entire system.

Business and Education Roundtable on 22 Oct 2024 from 9-11 at the Holiday Inn Infinity Event Center in Longview. RSVP and let your voices be heard to help shape CTE and Post-Secondary Career education opportunities offered through Kilgore College and Tyler Junior College.
The March 2022 Roundtable resulted in a whole new curriculum in Advanced Manufacturing and Industrial Technology with a focus on Automation and a companion Regional CTE pathway that leads to the Post-Secondary Training.
Arrupe graduates choose different pathways after receiving their associate’s degree–straight into the workforce, motherhood, certificate programs, technical training programs, and trade schools–while others continue onto bachelor and graduate degrees. Does DOE have industrial training in quantum energy technologies? In the scientific field, energy technologies are evolving rapidly and offer new possibilities for an energy transition and a sustainable future.
While classical methods such as solar panels, wind energy, nuclear energy, fusion, hydrogen, etc, are not the solution to the energy problem. No one can prove otherwise the problem is scientific it has no solution.
Just ask yourself why are there so many and all provide a negative return investment of 100% EROI in energy production, are behind.
The development of new quantum energy technologies is changing the landscape. Quantum Energy operates independently and with 100% self-sustaining efficiency, regardless of space or land, providing safe energy.
This innovative approach, exemplified by Empere®, is pioneering the creation of massive quantum plants that are 100% self-sufficient, efficient, and independent. With its innovative solutions, Empere® is paving the way for safe and sustainable energy to provide licenses for all industries that want positive EROI production! thanks, www.empere.net

🗳 The results are in: New Jobs for the Future (JFF)#voterpoll reveals that 84% of the voters we surveyed want policymakers to help provide better guidance to people to help them find education, training, and career options that fit their needs and that lead to jobs that pay family sustaining wages.
Unfortunately, too many young people leave high school without clarity on where they're going next or how to get there. They face a vast array of degree and nondegree options but lack the information on which paths lead to #qualityjobs. That's why JFF partnered with American Student Assistance to create the ASA Center for Career Navigation. There are many exciting things coming from the Center! Sign-up for the Center's newsletter below.
