The Olympics Are Coming... And We Want To Lube Them Up The Olympic Games are a celebration of the peak performance of the human body – something that we as the sexual happiness people can wholeheartedly relate to! With the world watching as Paris 2024 draws nearer, we would love to show our support for this stellar global event in our own way – by enriching the happiness and sexual health of those involved. Since the 1988 Olympic Games hosted in Seoul, South Korea, the Olympic Committee has been providing athletes in the Olympic village with free condoms, a vital, health-forward and sex-positive gesture – and this year, Lovehoney are extending an offer that, surely, nobody could refuse? Lovehoney is offering a generous quantity of our high-quality water-based lubricant to the Olympic village to ensure that athletes can have safe – and most importantly, enjoyable – sex and pleasure in 2024. Lovehoney’s CEO Johannes Plettenberg stated in an open letter to Laurent Michaud, Director of the Olympic and Paralympic Village: “By providing both condoms and lubricant, we can further support the well-being of all athletes, ensuring they have the resources they need to enjoy intimate moments to their fullest, safely and comfortably. This proposal is extended with the utmost respect for the athletes and the spirit of the Games. We believe in supporting peak performance, both on the field and in more private moments, with a touch of humor to lighten the mood in the highly competitive atmosphere of the Olympics.”

If you didn’t know… Dr. Bronner's and the International Olympic Committee – IOC have similar missions!! Their missions are carried out in different ways, but they both want to promote peace and unity between all people. The IOC’s vision is to build a better world through sport. Dr. Bronner’s vision is to make socially and environmentally responsible products of the highest quality and by dedicating our profits to help make a better world. Diving deeper into both visions, they promote how we all are not that different from each other. The IOC’s values: excellence, respect and friendship “Our values help bring out the best in us. We strive for excellence and encourage people to do the best they can. We promote respect in many different ways, respect for yourself, for the rules, for your opponents, for the environment and for the public. We celebrate friendship, which is the hallmark of the Olympic Games. There is more that unites than divides us.” This sounds pretty similar to Dr. Bronner’s mission! Our prayer as a company is “In all we do let us be generous, fair & loving to Spaceship Earth & all its inhabitants. For we’re All-One or None! All-One!” Our founder, Dr. Emanuel Bronner encouraged people to work hard, learn, grow, and improve, and to realize their unity across religious and ethnic divides. He believed that people must unite or perish which is why he was on a mission to unite the whole human race. Thus, I love watching the Olympics for many reasons… but the main reasons why I love watching these games is that people of all different backgrounds come together, co-exist, watch together, work together, compete against one another, cry together, laugh together, eat together, live together, scream together, chant together, sing together, dance together, etc. It’s possible, we all can do life together in a healthy way. Now like these two organizations, please do what you can to promote peace, unity, and joy in your communities. ALSO, make sure to tune into the Paralympic Games from 8/28 - 9/8 :) #ALLONE 💙

🥇Over the last five editions, China has dominated the medal standings by a wide margin: 🥈Chinese Paralympic athletes won in the previous Games over twice as many as the countries in the place. 🥉China has 80 millions disabled people and the country created an effective system to ensure the country's success at the Olympics. From spotting future talent to creating the world's largest training center for disabled athletes. 🥇China created in 2007 a world class national training center of 23-hectare facility in Beijing. In the months for the start of the Paralympics Chinese disabled athletes gather here for the preparation. 🥈In the rest of the year the athletes train in the 30 other regional centers. The pyramid-like structure helps to support emerging talent and, therefore, a lot of medals. 🥉The only critics remain abroad: the People's Republic will showing an interest in people with disabilities solely when they can shine in international sport, all the while without sufficiently tackling the persistent discrimination faced by the 85 million Chinese people with disabilities. https://lnkd.in/e9gCmqJM

I have been thinking - what happened in last 8 years that India has performed much better in the paralympics. Until 2016, the 1.4 billion strong nation had only 12 medals in the history of paralympics. In 2019, our para atheletes brought back 19 medals including 5 golds. In Paris we added 10 more medals make it a tally of 29 medals out of which 7 were top spots. In my limited knowledge and searching ability, I was trying to back track what changed in para sports in India? The first search took me to December 2016 episode of Prime Minister Modi's Mann ki baat radio programme where the term 'Divyang' was used instead of 'Viklang'. The bill for Rights of People with Disabilities was passed by both houses of the parliament in 2016. 14 new categories were added. A paradigm shift on how people with disabilities were treated. Across party lines, our parliament and government worked to improve the conditions of Divyang Jan (a term used to refer People with Disabilities). Indian Contingent strength at 2016 Rio games was 15. It increased to 54 in 2020 Tokyo and to 84 in 2024 Paris games. The increased participation meant more opportunities to win. There success brings more awareness and many others start pursuing sports. I feel the mental fortitude and the sheer will to prove themselves makes a huge difference. That's why these para athletes put in so much of an effort and remain strong under immense pressure. They have won a large battle in life, this is just a small win in comparison to that battle. In no way, I want to indicate that the state of affairs is perfect. It took us 50 years to recognize Chandu Champion and tell his story through Kartik Aryan. We have a long way to go. The consistency and performances of our para athletes just indicate that we are in the right direction.

Enjoying a little @chilipeppers as the @olympics #closingceremony wraps up… and couldn’t help but wonder… and maybe there’s a completely reasonable explanation for this, but… why do we have a separate @paralympics ? Is #blindfootball or being in awe of a person weighing 100# throwing up triple their weight any less amazing than breakdancing or non para-badminton? Both games are in Paris, but only one will dominate tv for 2 weeks, only one will be talked about around the water cooler, etc.. and I’ve not yet gotten into how fewer global sponsors, how much less star power stays on for the @paralympics - I’m guessing James, Phelps, etc won’t be making it back to see the para version of the sport that made them heroes… or opportunities for athletes with disabilities to get endorsement deals… hell, the first Paralympic athlete to get on the cover of a @wheatiescereal box was 2018! Over 25% of us have have a disability… yet the separation between “the disabled” and the rest of the world seems to be as strong as ever. The IOC chair praises inclusion, yet there is an entire subgroup of people that, in my opinion, are relegated to the annex of the Olympics… the kids table at turkey dinner… I say extend the Olympics another week, merge the events that you can (ie Men’s, Women’s, Men’s para, Women’s para… do we even need a different para archery event?), and be amazed at what the human spirit can achieve, despite the odds, the criticism, the nos or not having the body mechanics seemingly built for a chosen sport. #disabilityisnotinability @jenarnoldmd #fightthegoodfight #evenstevenolympics2028

𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐢𝐞𝐠𝐞! (My Statement about the Mockridge Drama in Germany.) The situation: A comedian—whose job is to make fun of everyone—got canceled for making jokes about participants in the Paralympics. Here’s my perspective on that: There exist only words and those too weak to handle them. It's not what they say, its how you interpret what they say. (I know Dark Humor is not for everyone, but the overall context is crucial!) 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧. It is their job to make fun of everyone. If they didn't make fun of everyone, they would actually be discriminating. The behavior we’re currently witnessing in Germany is a form of discrimination because the people in the Paralympics are excluded from the joke. When people get canceled for doing their job, I have serious concerns about freedom of speech in Germany and the EU. What is happening? Has everyone become so fragile that they can't handle jokes? What has happened to this country? I am deeply concerned, and we should all be aware of this shift, especially in the context of free speech!

Inclusivity in sports is a cornerstone of the Olympic spirit, embodying the belief that everyone, regardless of their abilities, deserves the chance to compete, excel, and inspire. The ongoing Olympics are a perfect reminder of this, as we witness athletes from around the world pushing boundaries and showcasing the incredible power of human determination. At this very moment, athletes with disabilities are preparing for the Paralympic Games, an integral part of the Olympic movement. These athletes demonstrate that excellence in sports is not limited by physical or mental abilities but is driven by passion, resilience, and dedication. The Paralympics, like the Olympics, are a global stage where the diversity of human ability is celebrated and where barriers are continually broken down. Many sports organizations have taken significant steps to support these athletes, from creating accessible facilities to developing adaptive sports programs. These efforts not only empower athletes with disabilities but also enrich the broader sports community, offering everyone the chance to witness the full spectrum of human athletic achievement. As the world tunes into the Olympics, it's an ideal time for professionals in the sports industry to reflect on and share how their organizations are fostering inclusivity. Whether through innovative programs, partnerships with adaptive sports organizations, or policies that ensure accessibility, your work is crucial in making sure that the spirit of the Olympics—unity, diversity, and excellence—is truly inclusive. So, in the spirit of Olympics, how is your organization contributing to inclusivity? Share your stories and inspire others to make sports accessible to all. Together, we can ensure that every athlete has the opportunity to shine on the world stage. The 2024 Paris Olympics will achieve a 50:50 ratio of male and female athletes for the first time! Looking back to the year 1900, when female athletes were first allowed to participate in the Olympics, only 2.2% of women took part. It has taken 124 years to reach this point. By the way, the Olympics in 1900 were also held in Paris! Sports are a demonstration of a nation's strength and an important force for uniting people. It's great to see the #GenderEqualOlympics this year, but I hope to see a future where no one is unable to participate in the Olympics in their preferred way and cheer for our countries and athletes due to natural disasters, human conflicts, or wars. #DEI #InspireInclusion https://lnkd.in/gHVvatMV

China has set an impressive benchmark with 220 medals this year. As we look ahead to the Los Angeles Paralympics in 2028, the question arises: Can we expect to see 50 medals from the Indian team? 🤔 Achieving this goal will require a multi-faceted approach: 🏅Investment in Training: Enhance facilities and coaching for athletes with disabilities. A strong support system is crucial for their development. 🌍 International Collaboration: Building partnerships with other countries can foster knowledge exchange and improve training techniques. 🤝 Community Engagement: Raising awareness and support for para-sports at the grassroots level will inspire more athletes to participate. 📈 Data-Driven Strategies: Utilizing analytics to track athlete performance can help tailor training programs for optimal results. 💡 Mental Health Support: Providing psychological resources to athletes is essential for their overall well-being and performance. The journey to 50 medals is ambitious but achievable. It requires dedication, resources, and a collective effort from all stakeholders in the sports community. What are your thoughts on this goal? What steps do you think are essential for the success of para-athletes? Share your insights! 💬

After heavy criticism about the IOC allowed two biological male boxers to compete with female boxers, some media paid by the IOC via deepstate, are desprately try to spread disinformation that Imane Khelif of Algeria was born as a female. Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu‑ting of Taiwan, were removed or stripped of medals from last year’s World Championships after allegedly failing gender-eligibility tests for the female category but have allowed to fight at the Paris Olympics. Last year at the World Championships, governed by the International Boxing Association, IBA president Umar Kremlev claimed the two women had taken chromosome tests that came back as male, XY. Therefore, Imane Khelif of Algeria and Lin Yu‑ting are biologically male. In biology, the term for a person born with fully developed sexual organs of both sexes is hermaphrodite, also known as Intersex. Hermaphrodites may also have a combination of male and female physical characteristics. Experts estimate that up to 1.7 percent of the population are born with intersex traits. One type of hermaphroditism is true hermaphroditism (true Intersex), or ovotesticular disorder, which is a rare condition that's characterized by the presence of both ovarian and testicular tissue in the same person. True intersex, that is, full hermaphroditism, extremely rare. 0.0012% of all births. The tissue may be separate or combined into an ovotestis. People with true hermaphroditism also have sex chromosomes that show male-female mosaicism, meaning they have both male XY and female XX chromosome pairs. Only about 25% of male hermaphrodites are diagnosed before age 20 because the condition is difficult to diagnose.
