Thanks to their quick thinking, calling 911, and staying by the client’s side, she received the medical help she urgently needed. These wellness checks are crucial, especially on Fridays, as for many clients, MOWLB drivers may be the last person they see until the next week. This incredible initiative shifts the power to middle and high school students, giving their classes $5000 to award to nonprofits that make a difference in our communities! Monday will be a record-breaking day at Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud! We’ll be cooking and packaging a record-breaking 634 meals on Monday! That’s: 👉 390 meals for our amazing clients (the most ever in a single day!), 👉 16 meals for our hardworking staff, 👉 168 meals for the Community Kitchen, 👉 And 60 frozen meals for our clients to enjoy later! This incredible achievement wouldn’t be possible without our talented kitchen staff and the dedicated volunteers who give their time and energy to serve our community.
