Hours before we left for our Christmas family break, I stopped by Parbery Consulting to unveil Ripples of Authenticity. “Ripples of Authenticity” was inspired by Parbery’s strong commitment to a people-first approach to business that supports people’s growth in a safe, non-judgmental environment. At the centre of the artwork Parbery’s commitment to people first is depicted with people abstractly connected forming a journey. This is to signify that people are key to Parbery’s journey. The next layer is using two interlocking lines to represent ongoing commitment to people, values, and purpose. Taking inspiration from one of the participants comments, the next layer is inspired by mountains to represent a solid foundation and represents Parbery’s strong principles of honesty and fairness. It also represents alignment of community and commercial goals for the greater good with abstract people representing community and clients. Extending off the centre element, is the ripple effect representing Parbery’s belief that opportunities are created by working as a team leading to growth in a holistic sense. Therefore, interconnecting with the ripples, are opportunities gravitating towards Parbery. Tactically, morally and by every metric…

I love this post by Brewster Knowlton, CEO at Gemineye because it really speaks to the core of my brand strategy ethos. So often, brand strategy is created in a vacuum, a series of documents that sit in a sad Sharedrive somewhere. 😭 Nobody knows what to do with them. I tell my clients, "Why pay for brand strategy if you don't know what to do with the findings?" This is one of the biggest gaps I've found within branding work - a failure to bridge the strategy to the action. It's like knowing you have to get on a plane, but you don't know which airport or which destination or when you are even going. Marketing at its best

Never when we sat down for that coffee all those years ago did I think we would end up here. Very proud of all that we have achieved over the past two years, the incredible team we have and the wonderful group of clients we have built. Smartest, most genuine, hardworking bloke there is. Honour and privledge to learn and spend majority of most days with you! Could write a list as long as the Nile about what I’ve learnt from JB, here’s 5 points that first come to mind; 1. Listen, listen more, take notes, summarise in writing, engage any expert you can to upskill and better understand the problem, turn the world over to find the most powerful solution. 2. If you find yourself with a few spare minutes having finished a meeting early, driving or walking to lunch, spend this time calling your team members to check in, this will be invaluable to both you and them. 3. No matter how busy you are, always make the time to stay connected and engaged with your network, a quick text is all it takes. 4. Respect and celebrate the achievements of our peers, their success makes us better and drives us forward as an industry. The quote I love from JB most is, “there’s enough clients out there for everyone.” 5. Always remember, we aren’t saving lives. Your family and your health always come first. One of a kind JB.
