Lower Thames Crossing’s Post

Work is underway to restore Upminster’s 15th-century Tithe Barn, one of London’s oldest buildings! We've funded a new thatched roof made from 30 tonnes of water reed, in partnership with the London Borough of Havering and Historic England. This restoration will protect the barn’s history and keep it standing for future generations. A big thanks to everyone involved in the restoration!
