Last week, several LP team members participated in the National Association of Black Accountants’ (#NABA) Annual Convention and Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event provided an opportunity to engage with industry leaders and Black business leaders while networking with fellow industry professionals and visionaries. As a proud partner of NABA INC., LP is dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace. Thanks for hosting us, NABA! #LifeAtLP #NABAFLOW #IN24FLOW

February is Black History Month but for the Vaya team, it isn’t a one-time, check-the-box activity. We know that diverse, inclusive organizations make better decisions, build market share in new markets faster, and earn more money than their homogeneous counterparts. Having an effective DEI program can benefit your company on multiple levels, especially since engaged workers are less likely to quit. Instead of using this month as a celebratory moment, use it to focus on building structural inclusion such as training to make underrepresented groups feel supported. Start building a diverse, inclusive organization today: https://lnkd.in/gtnpqs6M #blackhistorymonth #diversityandinclusion #vayagroup #leadership

I’m closing out #WomensHistoryMonth by spotlighting our AVP and DEI leader, Sucheta Misra, who recently shared her insights in Black Enterprise Magazine 📰 Sucheta talks through the challenges that women of color face in the workplace, as well as why a lack of leadership role models results in a struggle to be authentic in their own leadership style. I learned a lot from the article—I recommend you go have a read.

"How can you measure something which for so many people can be subjective?" Strategy was just one topic of discussion for Leathwaite director Ann Offomata and Justin K., director and global head of DEI of advisory firm, Milltown Partners. The two sat down as a part of Leathwaite's Inspire event series to break down the impact of world-wide events, the black experience in business settings, and what the future holds from a diversity, equity and inclusion perspective. See what they had to say here. #DEI #Diversity #Leadership
