Please don’t lie to market your brand. This is not just about outright lies that corporations make; saying that their vehicles are environment friendly or that their products are made with sustainable practices when they’re not. It is also about your personal brand, where you pretend you’re something you’re not. On the less intense side, we have people commenting “agree,” “you’ve hit the nail on the head,” and others on posts they cannot care less about. On the more messed up side, we have people pretending to be allies or anti-racist activists who write a lot, but rarely put what they’re saying into practice. Here’s why: 1. It’s boring. People can obviously see through it. And they’re throwing up a bit in their mouths. 2. You can only keep up with it for so long. #Marketing #Branding #MarketingStrategy
