Not only do Utilities give us life necessities in the form of power, but they also have missions and goals around impacting their communities. I work with Utilities across the USA and nearly every conversation involves community impact or community outreach. The local community is the customer and the customer is the priority. I applaud this Industry and those in it for keeping the customer top of mind. Duke Energy Corporation #utilitiesgiveback #communityimpact #giveback #powerthefuture #utilityjobs
Our annual employee-led Power of Giving campaign just wrapped! We set a new record with $12.5 million in total donations and nearly 48,500 volunteer hours, many of which focused on relief efforts to support our communities impacted by Hurricanes Milton and Helene. Here’s a way to connect locally whilst making a social impact. Bring to light the work this charity does to support young people with additional needs up to 25 years of age. The forgotten community that with help & support create, problem solve & build powerful connected teams that achieve much more than expected. Always surprising us and always making us feel richer in spirit & life for knowing them. If you can make it you won’t be disappointed #brightonbusiness #brightonnetworkingforbusiness #networkinginbrighton

The principle of voluntary action—freely cooperating to solve shared challenges—lies at the core of a flourishing society. At IHS, we work with scholars who teach students about the importance of this idea and how it strengthens communities without the need for government force. If this mission resonates with you, consider making a donation to support IHS. Your gift will be matched, ensuring that the values of freedom and voluntary cooperation inspire the next generation of leaders and thinkers. https://lnkd.in/gXctpUe3

They need all the help they can get how can you help .
Did you know your Goodwill shopping and donating last month helped 3,213 people in northwest North Carolina? When you shop and donate to your local Goodwill, 87 cents of every dollar spent in stores directly funds our mission to connect people to good, sustainable work. Some received skills training, and others worked on finishing their high school education—all got help, thanks to you! We can't wait to see all we will accomplish together in the month ahead. 💙
