🎓 First Semester Complete! 🎓 Reflecting on the last few months, it feels surreal to say I’ve completed my first semester at QMUL - The London LLM, studying International Finance Law and International Investment Law with the incredible George Alexander Walker and Angelos Dimopoulos. This semester wasn’t easy—I’ve had to push myself, adapt, and grow in ways I didn’t anticipate. But the process has taught me resilience, the value of hard work, and the importance of surrounding myself with a supportive academic community. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from such brilliant professors and alongside an inspiring, diverse group of peers. It’s been an eye-opening experience to explore the intricacies of finance and investment law. There’s still a long road ahead, but for now, I’m taking a moment to celebrate this milestone and reflect on how far I’ve come. Meet our newest Faculty member, Professor Jonathan Chan. He joined McGill Law in August, bringing with him a rich background in corporate law and securities regulation.
