Hello fellow LinkedIn and Alfa Romeo aficionados, As some of you know, I got two different serious requests for information and my opinion in one week. One request from a Dutch auctionhouse. The cars involved are a specific Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ and a specific Giulia TZ-2. We are talking cars worth between €1,2 million and €2,5 million. 117 cars of the TZ /TZ-2 were built, more than 200 are left and more are built at we speak. And I got a request for information on the history of a specific Alfa Romeo Autodelta 4 cylinder engine block. Not something you will find in on any street corner. Quite rare! 😉 What the clients want to know is; what are these cars (or parts)? Are they genuine, authentic, copies/replicas, reconstructions, resurrections or something else? I happened to be able to answer all questions from my databases. In this case my databases on the TZ and TZ-2 and my 1750 GTAm database. I am going to approach this more professional as an activity in fact finding for and advising clients. On the history, condition and the authenticity of 1960's and 1970's Alfa Romeo racing cars. Fact finding is the mission. And that includes debunking "alternative facts". Checking the history of and the condition of the car in question. The price war just start for some of them and others worked on volume limitations 💸 FERRARI MAKES EVEN MORE MONEY IN 2023 One thing is to sell cars and lead the volume rankings and a different one is to make money by selling cars. To be popular does not necessarily mean to make money. And there are two brands in the automotive industry that know this perfectly.
