To my hiring managers reading this... You need to streamline your interview process! 𝗧𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 places have 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 interview stages. This can hinder your chances of getting the best candidate for the role. Any more than 2 stages, the candidate may get disengaged and you’ll find that the top talent will be snatched up for another opportunity. So, slice the process down to 2 stages max. And if you have someone who ticks all the boxes, don’t hesitate! How many stages have you got in place right now? Do you agree with me? #Interview #Hiring #RecruitmentAdvice

Here's the thing: ghosting candidates after a job interview is a serious issue, and it’s happening far too often. Another growing trend: leaving job ads up for months with no intention of hiring. If you're looking to grow the team, great! But do it right. Let's not keep people hanging. #Hiring #CandidateFeedback #Ghosting

Ross gets it. Take it down a notch. When interviewing for a job, one of the simplest things you can do to set yourself apart from the competition is to show a genuine interest in the role, company, and conversation. Oftentimes I see people get passed over for roles not because of their technical skills or background, but due to not showing excitement or enthusiasm in an interview. smile 😀 do your research 💻 be engaged 🤝 These are all small changes you can incorporate in your interview to help differentiate yourself over others. #interviewtips #interviewadvice #jobtips #jobadvice #careeradvice #Vaco #vacotechnology #interviewing #interviewskills #interviewingskills #jobsearch #imhiring #hiring #withyoualltheway #proudtowearthejersey #jobmarket #jobtrends Vaco

I placed a candidate last week who sent thank you emails to the interviewers after every interview. Do I think it made a difference in their selection decision? Probably not. Do I think it made a positive impression? Sure do. In today’s hyper-competitive job market, a simple two-sentence thank you email can go a long way. It can give you a slight edge when you’re neck and neck with another leading candidate. Why not attempt to tip the scales in your favor? Has a thank you note ever influenced your decision to hire someone? #recruiting #hiring #jobsearchtips
