In an environment that’s tough on newly launched CPG brands, Tom’s Perfect 10 stands out for its perfectly executed launch, with several key success factors: 💞 A Strong Community Strategy from Inception When Tom Bannister asked his community to vote on newly created flavors to help determine which ones would earn the "perfect 10" rating and become permanent, he brought us on the journey with him. We eagerly awaited emails announcing new drops and ratings. Tom’s brand wasn’t just another granola in my inbox—it was a journey, and we felt like we were part of something. 🎤 An Authentic & Differentiated Voice Tom didn’t just create another "healthy snack"—he shared an authentic story. As a granola snob, his passion for what he was creating was evident, and it resonated with his audience. No talk of “naughty snacks” loaded with nutrients—just a real, relatable voice that kept us engaged. Did we know he’d land at Whole Foods? No. But we followed along because we cared about the journey. 📣 An Existing Platform From day one, Tom organically leveraged Eva Chen’s social media following, which was an incredible asset.
