This diagram offers a study of D.C. Office of the People's Counsel (OPC), a project we brought to completion last year. It touches into the essence of the design's parti, which was centered on creating a multifunctional space. Designed to be a dynamic environment, it adapts to the varied needs of both staff members and the community. At OPC, every corner is crafted to encourage dialogue and collaboration. The reception area buzzes with spirited discussions, while the lounge invites brainstorming sessions. The conference area, a hub of strategy and exchange, is embraced by the fluidity of semi-private spaces delineated by a glass partition system. When hosting events, this area opens for gatherings and presentations. When designing offices, the environments need to be creative and versatile but also comfortable.
