Today we're shining a light on another colleague and Shadow Shift graduate, Olga Čuhina. ✨ At LuckyStreak, we encourage our people to aim high, and to develop, progress and achieve. 🎯 Being a live casino, our people are our product, our authenticity, our gold. 💛 Just like Irina Talova, Olga embarked upon our Shadow Shifts programme to advance her career. 🚀 Joining as a Games Presenter, Olga was keen to be more deeply involved in the delivery of outstanding games experiences, and we were thrilled with that. 🎮 Now, as a Shift Manager, she ensures that our high standards are met and that our Games Presenters deliver the exceptional levels of quality our players demand. 📈 Having been a GP, Olga knows what that entails! She accepts and relishes the challenge; in her own words "I love my role, and it keeps me on my toes!" 💪 Olga saw Shadow Shifts as an opportunity to become more acquainted with how our studio operates, to learn and to challenge herself to grow. 🌱 "I saw how LuckyStreak values its employees, especially those who show initiative and are ready for new achievements. After the shadow shift, I began to look at my work day differently, and see what I can improve in myself to become part of the team." 💡 And, Olga, what is it like to work here? 🤔 "LuckyStreak for me is people, without whom the days would not be so unique. There's an atmosphere of community, the interweaving of all departments and the prospect of growth - both personal and career." 🤝 You love to see it! 👏 #HumansOfLuckyStreak #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork #LiveCasinoLife #CareerGrowth #EmployeeSuccess #LuckyStreak #ContinuousImprovement #TeamSpirit

A wise man once said "our people are our gold." 🏅 Actually, it was Kaspars Berzins, our Head of Studio. And he definitely knows! 😎 Being a live casino, our people are our product, our authenticity, our players' experience. Our gold. 💛 Shadow Shifts are one way we make that gold. We enable our people to develop in our business, through shadowing more senior, and just different roles. 🌟 Those that want to learn and progress can, and we encourage it. After-all, how better to ingrain knowledge, experience and attitude into our culture and proposition? 🔄 Meet Irina Talova, a Team Manager at LuckyStreak and Shadow Shift participant. Irina joined LuckyStreak as a Games Presenter in 2021, moved on to Pitboss in 2022 before starting her new role in February this year. 🎯 Her desire to learn and a natural curiosity about the business brought Irina onto the Shadow Shifts programme to observe and work alongside colleagues in other roles and teams. 👀 And newly gained knowledge, insights, and skills, and stronger relationships provided Irina with the platform to move her career at LuckyStreak onwards and upwards. 🚀 As a Team Manager, Irina is a manager of a team of Games Presenters, providing guidance, support and training to help her people grow and achieve their potential. Something that she finds incredibly rewarding. 👩🏫 In Irina's words: "Exposure to different functions within the company encourages continuous learning and personal growth. Fresh perspectives from observing other departments can lead to innovative ideas and improvements in your own work." 💡 Dare we ask, why you like working at LuckyStreak? "The company fosters a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee well-being. Emphasizing teamwork and mutual support, creating a friendly and inclusive workplace. LuckyStreak values work-life balance, providing flexible work arrangements to ensure employees are happy and productive." 😊 Exactly as we like it, Irina. 🙌 #HumansOfLuckyStreak #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork #LiveCasinoLife #CareerGrowth #EmployeeSuccess #LuckyStreak #ContinuousImprovement #TeamSpirit

Tonight I had a meaningful encounter with a former colleague impacted by a summer restructure at SciPlay. Despite the circumstances, our interaction was warm and genuine as we hugged and talked about what he had been up to. Earlier today, I learned about a going-away party for an employee in Israel who decided to pursue a new opportunity outside the company. The key takeaway? Treat departing employees with the same respect and kindness as when they first join the team. Whether it's their choice to leave or a company decision, showing empathy and kindness costs nothing. 👌🏼 We’ve had many proof points of successful boomerang employees. These employees eventually return to SciPlay and bring with them new experiences & perspectives to share with their teams. If we had treated them poorly upon exiting this would not be the case. Just a Monday reminder that kindness is always in style. Especially in business. 💚

Boomerang! From a Front Rower shared verbatim with permission in the hopes of helping others: Hi Elizabeth. Sending an update of my post-3M journey… I applied to many “junior level” engineering roles at medical and pharma industries at PR (main type of industries at the island). Most of my career have been as an engineering and operations manager, and I wanted to start learning the ropes again… but I kept getting the feedback that I was overqualified. So I received the feedback and I went a level higher on the type of jobs I applied… however, after 3 rounds of interviews the hiring manager at J&J told me at the interview that I should be applying to jobs his level or higher. He explained why. Kind of funny to have the hiring manager telling us that we are underselling ourselves. Why are some of us so afraid of not measuring up outside of 3M??? In the meantime, after 6 months (seems there was a time that 3M could not rehired me after the severance package). I can’t complain about my 15 years as a 3Mer. Or even after my career took a pause. I am blessed with great coworkers and bosses. 3Mers are truly a caring tribe. Even the last boss, the one that let me go.. he was cheering for my return and called to see if he could answer questions after I showed reservations to the hiring manager about coming back. So… next week, I return to 3M. (My family calls it: the next chapter of my marriage with 3M). 🤣 I return to 3M knowing that I was way too comfortable and confident of my tenure. I felt too secure. Now, I return knowing that I need to keep investing on making my skill sets more relevant to the industries that are around me. And invest on my self-confidence so I feel capable of applying to jobs outside of 3M that are truly aligned with my capabilities…. Instead of keep selling myself short. Thank you for all your post. While I was going through this period of uncertainty, people like you were lifting my spirit. ❤️🙏🏽 P.S. Today’s playlist song ‘You Spin Me Round (Like a Record) Dead or Alive #ejcoach #3mersunite #dowhatsbestforyou

Remember your first day at a new company? It's so overwhelming with excitement, nerves, anxiety, happiness and everything else in-between. Building rapport with my candidates, that become new hires, doesn't stop once they sign all the paperwork. There are a few reasons why I like to send a Team's message welcoming them to Awin: 1. I am my candidate's biggest cheerleader. I am so excited you landed this opportunity with us!! 2. I can be a resource. People may feel uncomfortable/nervous/anxious to reach out for help, to people they don't know, when they are just starting. 3. I'm a 'familiar' person. With all the nerves/excitement that comes during that first few weeks. You're meeting/speaking with what feels like millions of people and learning so much during your onboarding period. The BIGGEST welcome all my new hires that are starting this month. 😊
